Sandlots tears streamed. She looked around frantically her heart racing. She lay against a tree. Her tears stopped as a leaf fell onto her head. She looked up. There was a hollow tree above her. She climbed into it. "This will be my home. No cat will ever find me here." She left to collect moss. She placed it in the den, and marked her territory. She left to try to catch a mouse. "Maybe I can catch something." She traveled farther reaching a den. It had two cages in it and arguing cats inside. She gasped as she slowly backed away.
