I got up in the morning, and dressed into our dress code. I brushed through my hair and ran out the door as I was gonna be late. I saw morty outside, and knocked on Eli's door.
"Morning sunshine" I said, when he yawned opening the door. "School today! It's wednesday, get dressed Eli" I said. He let me in and went to get dressed, I saw his mom and waved.
"Are you Cassie? Eli has been talking about you!" She said, I blushed.
"Hi." Eli said from behind me, I screamed again.
"Stop doing that! Come on! We are gonna be late!" I said. He grabbed his backpack and we went out the door. Neither of us cared about the new dress code. But I did it just so that I wouldn't get in trouble.
I got in the passenger of Morty and Eli started him up.
"We are so late."I mumbled.
"Since when do you care?"
"Since my mom beats me!" I said.
"You said that she was bipolar." Eli said.
"She is but she also does it on purpose, most of the time it's on purpose. I also-" I stopped myself, I don't want to tell Eli that.
"You also what?" He asked, looking at me.
"I cut." I managed it say. We got to school and Eli grabbed my arm, I winced. "Eli, let go." I said. He rolled up my sleeve and looked at my arm, full of cuts. He looked at me with pain in his eyes, I looked into his with confusion. "Eli, it's not that big of a deal." I started.
"Yes it is!" He yelled. I rolled down my sleeve and Adam came over. "Adam, she cuts." Eli said to him, Adam looked at me, I just stood there. Disappointed in myself.
"Why?" He asked me, I ran off into hte girls bathroom, Adam came in.
"This is the girls room Adam."I stated.
"Naturally I'm a girl. I still have the same part to pee as you do." He said, I laughed.
"My mom beats me." I let tears fall out of my eyes. Adam hugged me and lead me out of the bathroom and went to Eli, who was leaning on his car.
"You need to stop cutting."He demanded. I nodded.
"I promise I will. "I said, as Imogen came over.She glared at me. I pulled her to the side.
"Stay away from Adam!" She growled.
"I only like him as a friend Im. I actually kinda like Eli." I said softly. She smiled and hugged me unexpectedly. "Oh god, Im! Get off me! RAPE!"I laughed, Adam pulled her off of me. I was still laughing as I got into class, that was a bad start to today...
