The Next Day

When I woke up the next morning, it took me a second to remember where i was. Then it all came back to me at once. Which meant I would need to start working today. I got up and took a shower. When I exited the warm paradise, I picked out my clothes for the day. A white tank top with a teal sweater-thing, jeans, and multi-colored flats. Then, I brushed my teeth, pulled my hair into a messy-bun, grabbed my dirty clothes basket, and headed to the laundry room.

I checked to see if any of the boys had laundry, and if they did then to bring it to the laundry room at least until I learn where everyone's rooms are. Christoph wasn't up yet, so I had to find his room first thing after breakfast and grab his clothes.

When I reached the laundry room I cried. There was laundry piled to the ceiling. What was dirty was mixed with what was folded. My head was spinning... I had to rewash everything.

The five boys behind me looked at eachother and started to tiptoe away, hoping I wouldn't catch them. "Not so fast, guys." I called after them. They all stopped and turned with guilty faces, except for Flake, because as I had learned he was doing the laundry before I arrivved. "Does somebody want to explain to me why this laundry room looks so out of hand?" I was fuming, this was simply unacceptable.

"Um, Aidon, well, you see..."Paul trailed off.

"Anyone else?" I asked impatiently.

"We're always on the road, you know. We don't really have time for laundry." Ollie attempted to explain.

"Then how do you have clean clothes? Does a magic fairy do them when you're sleeping? No that can't be right either, because if that were so then there wouldn't be so many dirty clothes. Ugh, fine, everyone drop your baskets and go to breakfast, and somebody wake Sneider up! I need his dirty clothes too." At the end of my rant, Richard ran to wake Sneider up, and the rest went to breakfast. After a moment, Richard came down with Christoph's laundry.

"He told me to take it for him and that he was feeling ill." Richard sighed as he put down the basket by the others.

"I hope it's not something he ate, because we all had the same thing!" I worried.

"He'll be fine." He assured me. "Need any help?"

"No, I got it. It'll take me a while, and I don't want you to miss breakfast." I really didn't. I saw how much of a diva he could be on some of the interviews, and I wasn't taking any chances.

"Don't be silly. I'll help you seperate some of the clothes and get the first load in, then I'll take you to breakfast. My treat." Richard smiled the most amazing smile I think I've ever seen.

After what seemed like forever, we had all the clothes seperated into darks, whites, colors, and towels. I got the first load of darks in the washer, as there was more of those than anything else. I smiled at the accomplishment and looked over at Richard, who was waist deep in a pile of Flake's gaudy clothes calling for help. After laughing at his situation, I helped him out and he kissed my cheek in gratitude.

"Now, how about soe food?" he asked, his stomach growling loudly in agreement.

"I think your stomach is speaking for both of us." I laughed.

A wee bit later

We pulled up to a little corner cafe and placed our orders. I was surprised that he didn't order anything fancy. We ate in silence for a little bit, then he spoke, "Aidon, there's something I've wanted to ask you." he hesitated, but I waved my hand in a motion prompting him to go on. "How do I ask something like this? Are you interested in me?" he asked it so softly I almost couldn't understand him.

"How do you mean? Of course I'm interested in you... you're very interesting." I was confused.

"No, I mean do you like me... like more than the other guys?" This I understood.

"Oh, well yeah I guess so. I mean I've always been a huge fan of yours, but now that I get to know you it's a little deeper than a celebrity crush. Does that bother you?" I was suddenly aware of what I just said and was afraid that he would be bothered by it.

"No, it doesn't bother me at all, actually, I like you a little bit more than just a maid." We were both quiet again for a few minutes until I spoke up.

"So what does this mean? Us liking eachother I mean." I asked. I was worried.

"We'll see. I don't want to rush anything; I've done that way too often and it never turns out well. Let's just let it play out, but it's nice to know that the feelings are mutual." That it was. It was a relief to know that he felt the same way and that he wanted to take things slow.

"So, now that that's out of the way, should we go back to the house? I think I heard the guys talking about having a barbeque later." In all honesty I just wanted to see Richard shirtless in person. If the pictures on google served me right, then this man had some muscles he was hiding.

"Um, ja, that's fine." he said, and we left the cafe and headed home.
