Ethan's POV
Avery is back. She lost a lot of blood. Carrie and I visit her every day. She has only gotten worse. I am hoping for the best. It's 10:00 pm. Carrie left an hour ago. I sit next to Avery. I love that girl like she is my sister. Avery kisses me on my cheek. "I love you Ethan", she said. "I love you too Avery", I reply. I want to cry, but I'm being strong for Avery. She looks at me with a look of pure love. Just like that, she is gone. On February 4, Avery died in my arms.
9 Years Later
Carrie's POV
The night Avery died was the worst night of my life. I return to regular school with Ethan. I never will go to WAGS again. Ethan and I became best friends. Friendship turned into love. Our wedding is in two days. Ethan and I are in a coffee shop. Above my coffee, I imagine little hot air balloons. Avery always wanted to go on a hot air balloon. Ethan and I are different people. I am a woman, and he is a man. We plan to move to Chicago and start a family. Ethan got a job offer in Chicago. I love Ethan more than anything in the world. When he comes back, I kiss the man of my dreams on the lips.
