To whomever might be reading this,
Hello, my name is Blur. I am not your average kid; in fact I'm not even a kid. I'm actually 1,500 years old. Oh yeah, I'm not a human either. I was actually born on another planet in another galaxy. I was sent to your Earth for a special mission which involves the option of life or death for all its inhabitants.
Ten others and I have been training our whole lives for this. The eleven of us are currently split up into two groups to explore this planet. Unfortunately, I was placed in the smaller of the two with four others by the names of Shifter, Blue Jay, Eavesdrop, and my most loyal and most trusted friend Vision. Yes, there is a reason to why we have such uncommon names, and that is because we are named after our powers because our real names are too hard to translate into English, or any of your human languages. And yes, you have heard correctly, we have powers, indeed everyone on my planet does. Our personalities determine what gift we receive at our birth. My power is the ability to run exceptionally fast over large areas without getting winded or tired. Although I might be the fastest boy on the Earth, I am quite slow compared to others in my gift group. Strange isn’t it?
But I digress from the topic. You will determine the fate of your whole planet based on your behavior towards the others surrounding you. If you -what’s the word- “screw” this up, I will not hesitate to alert the others to come and destroy your planet. Life or death, it’s your choice, along with ten other humans on your planet.
Sincerely, Blur
After note - I am most definitely watching as you read this letter and I will be continuing to watch you until I make up my mind. Oh, and human? It would be wise if you do not share this letter with anyone else, very wise, for I am always watching and I will find out if you do, and trust me when I say there will be dire consequences if you do.
