Once Don crumbled onto his knees was it clear he had lost. Mixed cries blended until she could make no sense of their mindless nonsense.  Uncaring she descended to the rubble reduced ground. Peering at him she blew gently on him.

  Her snout brushed him as she checked to see how he was. Alive but beaten, if only this had not happened. She had enjoyed her life here with Don, as his Queen. Such life of luxury and security had been greatly destroyed.

   Her eyes looked back to see Marines creeping into the background. "Never !" She roared at the scavengers. With a flick of her powerful tail she sent them flying. Gently she mouthed the downed man, his head and feet sticking out.

   At first she heard cries, they thought she meant to eat him. Fools, she sneered. Why would I eat the father of my unborn young ? But she did not voice this, no one save she was aware of the two eggs in her belly.

   Already she could feel her twin daughter's personality, both were very vivacious. It was a shame she would be forced to leave, as this island princesses by birthright they would have flourished. Instead she was forced to leave this once paradise.

  Better to live then die, she mentally sighed. One day they would be back and rule over Dressrosa and no one would stop them ! At this thought she spread her wings and launched in the air.

   Felicity drifted in lazy circles, riding on her she could see the Family members and clutched in her claws where treasure chests. Good, you've got Daddy, Felicity spoke to her mentally. Yes, do you have everyone ? She questioned as she examined her gold scaled daughter.

   Gleaming like the sun, all in her molten glory. Hearing her thoughts she saw her daughter's eyes spin in pleasure. 

 Yep, save for the clingy one ! She chirped back. I'll get him, she banked a sharp turn before hurtling herself at the old man. Scooping him up in her claws she pumped her wings hard, shooting upward. She flew as fast as she could, away from the island with her daughter following.

   She could feel the Family Members confusion, at least those awake and alert. No too many enemies, the risk was to great, she would not risk any of her voluble and vulnerable offspring. Relentlessly they flew on until reaching a island that seemed uninhabited.

   Don had woken up long ago, beaten and battered he also joined her in sleep. Stay in dragon form, she thought as her dreams came.

She could hear their laughter, two blonde little girls ran ahead of her before leaping in the air. Their small bodies changed, feathers sprouted but they were dragons ! Creamy white with gold the two flew together as one.

   My girls, she thought in awe as she watched.
