Isabella's P.O.V.
She was such an idiot. Was she always like this? No, no, Florence was better. She thought things through. She listened. She was smart. Maybe not when she was drunk, but sober she was sharp.I grabbed her torso, pulling her onto the couch as she whimpered a bit. I could see a few tears in her eyes from the pain. "That drink was poison. I use it for hunts." I spoke softly, a bit of a growl in my tone.
Florence just looked at me, tears in her eyes, her hands shaking as her eyes swam. "How do y-you k-k-know me?" She begged, her back arching as the poison etched its way in her veins.
I sighed and kissed her head, running into the kitchen. Grabbing a small pink vial, I rushed back to her. "We lived in the same town. Friends. We're good friends. Then you left when the trials went up. I stayed and I was there to help." I said, opening the bottle.
She shuddered and I hummed a soft tune that we used to sing together.
"Midas is king and he holds me so tight, and turns me to gold in the sunlight." I sang, carefully filling a small syringe with the liquid from the pink vial.
Florence cried out in pain again, but spoke the next few words. "Raise it up." I giggled a bit happy she remembered. But I needed to focus on the task at hand.
"Flo...This is gonna hurt...." I said, grabbing her right forearm, holding it tight. She cried out in pain a bit but stayed still. I edged the needle im slowly, more tears from her face fell. I held her close and plunged the rest of the needle in, quickly pushing the antidote in afterwards.
She screamed and cried, and her eyes clenched shut from the pain. I held her close, quickly taking out the needle. A bit of her blood spilling onto her. I wiped it up with my hand, but Florence still cried out in pain. "Its okay. Its okay." I spoke, softly. Her face rocked back and forth till it stopped. Eyes closed and head off to the side, Florence had lost consciousness . I sighed but jumped as there was a knock on the front door. I stood and made my way to see who it was.
I looked through the peep hole and saw him. His short, brown hair gently falling over his brown eyes. He bit his bottom lip gently, knocking again.
"Hey Rob." I said, gently tugging him inside. He turned, facing the knocked out Florence. His gaze softened as he gently ran to get by her. He touched her temple, running his fingers gently over her forehead. He tucked a small piece of red hair behind her head and looked at her.
"I-Its her...Right?" Rob said, stammering a bit.
I nodded my head, it was Florence.
