Chapter 5 {Only friend}

Chapter 5

-After school-

(Y/n)'s POV

I walked up to my house and thought about what Mr. Ackerman said to me.

Eren is the only friend I have and he lived close to me...I don't want to live with my aunt too...I guess I have no choice, but to ask Eren. I sighed, "I doubt he'll let me..." Tears start to form in my eyes. "(Y/n)?" I looked up to see Eren standing in front of me. "Are you crying?" I shook my head "N-no, something was on my eyes...." I rubbed my eyes and looked back up at Eren. "Heh, it's gone now..." I wriggled a smile. Eren sighed "(y/n)...I know it's hard for you." He sat next to me.

"Eren?"

"Hm?"

"Uhm...I know we were friends only for a few days, but...c-can I stay at your house?...y-you d-don't have to let me, but you're my only friend and I have no one else to go to..."

Eren smiles "Sure...I'll tell my mom about what happened and we have a guest room for you..."

"T-thanks...I-I won't stay there for long...I'll find a job and move out in an apartment..."

"N-no it's okay....y-you can stay as long as you want..."

I smiled "Thanks"

Eren blushes and got up. "Okay um let's go now..." I nodded and we walked to Eren's house that was across from mine.

When we got there, Eren's mom was surprised, but gave us a big smile. "Well! Who is this beautiful young lady?" I smiled "H-hi Mrs. Jaeger..." I waved at her and she let us in. Eren told me to sit on the couch and wait for him. I nodded and sat on the couch. I took out my notebook from my backpack and start to draw.

Eren's POV

Eren's mom: Is she your girlfriend?

Eren: What?! No! She's just a friend...anyways, she wants to live here....

Eren's mom: WHAT?! Why?! Did you get her pregnant?!

Eren: Mom! You know I wouldn't do that! And there's a reason why she wants to live here.

Eren's mom: Okay then tell me...

Eren: Long story short, her family is dead...

Eren's mom: What?! How? When?

Eren: They died from a car accident, and it happened last night...also her house will be for sale since the house owner is dead.

Eren's mom: ...oh...how many people were in her family?

Eren: I think it was 4, her mom and brothers...

Eren's mom: Oh....well she can stay in the guest room. And she can stay for as long as she wants!

Eren: You should go tell her that, and get to know her more!

Eren's mom: Alright, you're cooking dinner today okay!

Eren: Fine...

(Y/n)'s POV

Eren and his mom have been taking a while... I was almost done with my drawing. It was a drawing of my mom, dad and brothers. I smiled at the drawing "I miss you guys..." I quietly whispered. "Are they your family?" I turned around and saw Eren's mom standing behind the couch. "Y-yeah..." I looked down at my laps, trying not to cry. "Let it all out dear..you've been through a lot today." Eren's mom sat next to me and hugs me.

I let out all my tears. Soon I was bawling on Eren's mom's shoulders. All she does is rub my back and gently pats my head. Which kinda calms me, she reminds me of my mom...
