School Play Try-outs

Thursday morning I woke up with butterflies in my stomach, today I will be trying out for the lead role in the school play! The theme is Disney and Im trying out for Minnie Mouse Elsa from Frozen. I ate breakfast and got a cup of Honey Chamomile tea which is great for the voice. After I got dressed in my red skirt with a printed t-shirt, a brown jacket and my cute Jimmy Choo heels I put my hair in a cute ponytail and did my makeup. I practiced the son once more and grabbed my backpack and a bottle of detox water I made. (also very good for the throat!)

"Cameela! Good luck with this afternoon!! I hope you get the lead role! Im trying out for Anna." Anne said grabbing me elbow and pulling me to her locker. "Thanks. I hope you get it too!" I said. She gave me a small shimmery gift bag and said : "Open!" I laughed and opened it up. It was a Golden lipgloss tube with my name on , and the scent was Frozen Sugar Cookie and Coconut. "Thank you so much! Its so pretty!!!" I said hugging her.

Travis and I walked toghether to the library for our free period to get some homework done. "Are you stressed for the try outs?" He asked. "Kinda. I dont want to embarras myself.." I said chewing the end of my sparkly white pen. "Dont be. Im sure you will make it. Your voice is amazing!!" He said. I smiled at him and he squeezed my hand.

I waited back stage for my turn as I warmed up my voice. All of us had to sing the hardest part of "Let it go!" And so far the girls arent doing well. They cant hit the key. "Cameela Montgomery, Ooh the new girl!" One of the people said. I walked onto the stage and they handed me a microphone. As the music played I did my best to hit all the keys perfectly. It was one of my favourite songs to sing. "PERFECTION! WE FOUND HER! WE HAVE FOUND THE INNER ELSA AND MINNIE MOUSE!!" Mr Stephen said. I laughed and he gave me the rehearsal schedule. Travis ran down and hugged me. "I told you!! I got the part of Hans , so were doing a duet toghether. Luke is that other guy." He said. "Ooooh cool, thats gonna be awesome. Thank you and congrats to you!!" I said sqeeuzing his hand gently. As we walked together to my car I asked : "Wanna go to Starbucks for a victory frappe and a slice of cake?" He smiled and said "Definitely, my treat!"

After we got our stuff I placed my Cotton Candy frappe and Nutella brownie cake on the table. We sat a while and talked about nonsens. He was really the best friend I could ever want.

When I got home I sat at my desk and started with my mountain of homework. Atleast I had a nice Autumn Candy Apple candle burning and soothing music while I was typing my English essay about a passion. At about 8 I finished my homework and studiyng and I decided since I had a long day. I pampered myself with a nice "Creamy Sugar" bathbomb and a seasalt mask.

After I straightened my hair and picked out my outfit for tomorrow.
Today was really nice!
