{ chapter four }
My body is screaming at me telling me to open my eyes. I fight the urge for fear of what I will come to. I feel over rested, like I've been sleeping for years. After a few minutes of trying to stay asleep I eventually open my eyes. I can hear beeping of machines all around me, I raise my arm to see that it is all bandaged up and has wires running through it. I don't remember how I got here. A tall skinny woman comes over to the side of my bed "ahh faith you are awake, you have been out for six days now. We were worried that you would never wake again." I examine her before trying to come out with an answer. I try to speak, but nothing but a faint voice comes out, I cough to try and clear my throat. I then have to turn my head away when I start to cough up blood, it is streaming from my mouth choking me and cutting of my air supply. The beeping gets louder. There are people all around me screaming and yelling. I then pass out.
