Konoha Central
Front entrance, 7:43 AM
December 18thShino yawned as he entered the school building. It was their last day before winter break, and he couldn't be happier. They had just finished winter finals, and he helped all of his friends study. Because that's what friends do.
Kiba greeted him with a head nod and smiled, "Morning."
Shino nodded back, "Morning."
"You got the gifts right?" Kiba asked.
Shino nodded, "Of course. You?"
Kiba nodded, "Yeah. It's hard shopping for girls." He grumbled.
Shino nodded, "Yeah, but it'll be worth it." Shino replied.
Kiba leaned against the lockers and sighed, "At least today is light. What final do you have for today?"
"Besides gym it's my foods class, so we might be making cookies or something." Shino answered.
Kiba nodded, "I only have the gym final, but we don't do anything for that so I'll just be stuck here to exchange gifts. What did you settle on getting for Miku?" Kiba raised an eyebrow with a slight smirk on his face.
Shino went into his bag and got out a rectangular box and opened it to reveal the necklace inside of a lady bug, "She picked it out for her birthday gift, but I didn't have enough to get it for her then."
Kiba whistled, "I can see why. Are those black diamonds?" He asked looking a bit closer.
Shino nodded, "Yeah. I put in a lot of hours for this gift." He closed the box and put it back in his backpack. "What did you get for her and Hinata?"
Kiba reached into his backpack and got out two gift bags, "I got Hinata a new bra and some clothes from that PINK place she's always at, and I got Miku a new hoodie and some perfume."
Shino nodded, "That's good. I got her some perfume and a necklac-"
"Shino-kun! Kiba!"
It was a very short warning before Miku hopped onto Shino's back and hugged him. He flinched a bit but held onto her legs so she wouldn't fall, "Hi Miku."
"Hey Miku. Hinata." Kiba greeted with a smile.
Miku got off of Shino and gave him a black gift bag, "Merry Christmas!" She said happily.
Shino gave her the purple gift bag and gave a small hint of a smile, "Merry Christmas to you too. And to you, Hinata." He gave Hinata a rectangular box. "I hope you guys like them."
"Ahhhhhhhhh I think my presents are better." Kiba said handing the girls their gifts.
Hinata and Miku both giggled and handed Kiba his gifts, "Thanks."
The bell rang and the group scurried off to class. Miku and Shino sat next to each other as usual. The class was filled with talking and chatter, as the teacher was reading and let the kids do whatever. Naruto and Sasuke walked over and Naruto elbowed the raven haired teen.
"Give it to her." Naruto hissed.
Sasuke rolled his eyes and held out a black rectangular box. Miku opened it and blinked down at the pair of designer glasses,"Oh, wow." She said softly.
"Cause I broke the other ones on your first day." Sasuke muttered rubbing his neck. "Its whatever."
Miku gave him a smile, "Thanks Sasuke."
Sasuke cleared his throat and shrugged, "No biggie."
Shino rolled his eyes and then Naruto gave Mike a book titled Six of Crows with a black bow, "Kiba said you'd like this."
Shino nodded approvingly and his lips quirked up ever so slightly, "Good job."
Miku hugged the book to her chest and squeeled, "Thank you!"
Naruto chuckled and smiled, "No problem. You guys are coming to the new years party right?"
Shino shrugged, "Maybe."
Miku grinned, "We might."
Naruto blew Miku a kiss and punched Shino in the shoulder softly,"Whatever, nerds." He said before walking off. Sasuke followed shortly after to the other side of the classroom.
"Are we gonna go?"Miku asked.
"Sure."
