Three shots. Two misses. One hit. Three screams. Two close calls. One tragedy.
"BROOKLYN!" Sherlock screamed, running over to her.
She smiled weakly, but gently, and looked up at him.
JJ and Blitz ran in at Sherlock's scream, his light blonde hair caked with blood, and her black with dirt. She shot Moran from atop the balcony in the room they were in, then both of them darted upstairs to ensure nobody else was waiting.
Sherlock gently lifted up Brooklyn's head, and placed it on his knees, but cradled in his hands, since his feet were tucked under him.
"No.. No.." He whispered, ripping off his scarf to hold in blood.
"H-hey.." She coughed up blood. "Don't cry.. I'll be alright, Sherly."
"But.. But I.." For once in Sherlock's life, there were no words that came to mind- in short, he was blank. "I'm sorry.."
"D-don't be.. I'm gonna go in my best friend's ar-" her words were cut off by coughing, and then th-

Sherlock and I jumped out of the car and took off running towards our safe house. It was exactly two miles away from the underground entrance to the Legion where we would enter at. The maps had been used to find the entrance, since two fakes were placed around it as well, mainly for protection.
I banged the old secret code on the door, and waited for Viper to open it.
He peered out the small window to see who it was, and quickly flung it open with joy. "Ahhh Alpha!"
"Hello, Viper." I replied.
"Come on, come in."
Sherlock and I walked inside, and he gave me a confused look. "Alpha?"
"Oh," I whispered, "code names. You really don't think his name is Viper do you?"
<<<*>>>
All three of us, Sherlock, Viper, and I, sat around the tiny living room, preparing.
"Is the rest of the group coming?" I asked Viper.
"I'm honestly not sure, Alph. I don't know about JJ or Blitz." He replied sadly.
"Hold on, who are all these people? Brooklyn, when I went through the files on the Legion, none of these people were mentioned. Why.." Sherlock trailed off.
I nodded and stated, "well, because all three of them, JJ, Viper, and Blitz, all went AWOL. Now, since the Legion can't have such a 'poor record'," I rolled my eyes at this, "they got rid of all the files so nothing could be traced back. Terrible excuse, I know."
"That's dumb.. Why would they do that?"
"Like I said, terrible excuse."
"OKAY. Little off topic, Alph. If JJ and Blitz are coming, they'll be here within the next hour. So, I believe we should wait before we begin discussing plans, because if they show up, we'll have to make new arrangements. Understood?"
"Understood, Viper." I replied.

It was 8:30 in the morning when JJ and Blitz arrived.
*knock, kn-knock, knock, up knock*
"Ah, that'll be them." Viper said, waking Sherlock and I up from our slumber on the couch.
"Wuddup, Fam?" JJ yelled once he got into the living room.
"JJ!" I yelled and ran forward to hug him and Blitz.
"Yeah, yeah happy reunion. Come on, let's go. We've got stuff to do." Viper snapped and made us all sit down at the table to discuss plans.

All 5 of us were crowded around two maps, holding all the passages, entrances, exits, and secret corridors in the Legion's Location. There were too many twists and turns for us to memorize, so we all had to stay together to ensure nobody got killed.
"It's already changed so much.." Blitz mumbled. "How did he do that?"
"Not sure.. Probably the fact that he's Commander and can do anything he wishes." Sherlock replied.
"Oh. Who are you?" She returned.
"That's Sherl." I told her, smiling.
"Oh.." She giggled.
Sherlock sighed and shrugged, "alright whatever. Code name central, I see."
"Very much so, Sherl." Viper said from next to him.
All I heard was an angry sigh and footsteps walking away from the table.
<<<*>>>
It was three whole hours before we were completely done with anything. Partly because Sherlock and Viper could not stop arguing, and partly because Blitz wouldn't shut up about old times. It went something like this.
Blitz: "hey, alpha, do you remember the time that you and I-"
Viper: "shut up, nobody cares."
Sherlock: "well I think she would, considering she brought it up."
JJ: "Can we PLEASE get back on topic?"
Blitz: "Yah, sure, Fam."
Sherlock: "what the hell is a 'fam'?"
So, it took quite a while. However, we did eventually reach an agreement.
JJ and I would go in through the roof, after Blitz made the distraction at the bottom of the tunnel where the entrance was. Sherlock would lower me in, and Viper, JJ. Directly after JJ and I got down and into the HQ, Sherlock and Viper would leave and help Blitz down at the entrance.
Since Moriarty is on high alert, we all know that we must be careful and stay together at all costs. He'll be waiting on us to get in there and try to take him down.
We leave at 11:30 p.m. to head to war.
<<<*>>>- 11:25
"Alright Squad, ready?" Viper asked us as we got our last minute utilities ready.
Blitz and I were matching, just like old times, with our hair back in French braids, two embroidered katanas on our back, a machine gun in our hands, and a completely black spandex jumpsuit on with our name in gold cursive on the chest.
JJ, Viper, and Sherlock all had black suits on as well, but they weren't near as tight as ours were though. Their guns were strapped to their backs with ammunition around them on a cord, like you see in cowboy movies. Sherlock was even wearing a small pack full of rope, extra knives, and two small water bottles just in case.
All five of us though, had knives strapped to our thighs and combat boots.
"Of course. JJ, are you ready?" I asked him.
"I suppose." He replied solemnly, and with that, we all went to the roof of Viper's and began running across the roofs of the neighborhood. Each step towards our destination was like a step towards death, and the Black King has been waiting a long time to get me.
<<<*>>>
"Alright, JJ. Jump." Viper mumbled to him, after we had gotten the skylight open.
Since it was already dark outside, and there was no moon nor stars, we didn't have to worry about any light shining in.
JJ dove through the skylight gracefully and silently, while Viper slowly lowered him in. Once JJ hit ground, it was code that the 'flyer' as we call them, pulled on the rope twice, to let the puller know the rope was ready to be pulled back up.
Viper quickly yanked the rope up, handed it to Sherlock, and took off down the side of the building to help Blitz.
"Ready, love?" I asked Sherlock.
He breathed out and nodded quickly, helping me tie my rope around my waist.
I ensured it was tight and that everything was in place. "Don't let me fall.." I whispered.
"Wouldn't dream of it." He replied, grabbing his end of the rope tightly for emphasis.
I kissed his cheek and jumped through the roof, Angel-diving. JJ quickly untied me, and I pulled the rope twice, and watched it go back up.
I sighed, turned to JJ, and nodded the que to start.
He grabbed my hand, whispered, "run," and took off through the dark building.
<<<*>>>
Now, of course we memorized every twist and turn on the two maps, and in the building itself. It's disguised as an old, abandoned warehouse. However, if you can find the right wall and tap the right bricks in the right order, the wall will open and reveal the actual Legion half. This, in particular, was my idea, although, the fact that everything has been completely swapped around is different. The code is different, (since the wall is electronic, you can change the code), the rankings and honor systems are different, and even the way they fight is different. I'm assuming all of these 'changes' are to prevent Sherlock and I from getting in.
JJ and I had been running, trying to find the wall for what seemed like hours. The screams from the front entrance where Sherlock, Blitz, Viper, and Moriarty's guards were had long since died down. I didn't know if any of them were still alive. I didn't even know if JJ and I were alive, or just dead men walking, waiting to be killed.
"JJ..." I whispered, hoping he'd hear me, since I could barely hear myself.
"Mm." He returned, and I thanked God that he had good hearing.
"Where are we?"
"No clue. And I don't think we're going to find anything running around in the dark, stupidly. But we can't risk lights." He replied quietly, pulling me into a small janitorial room away from the main halls.
We closed the doors just like they were, and I flipped on my flashlight to ensure nothing was there. And even though we were in a life or death situation, all I could think of was that Moriarty must be a neat freak to want a janitorial closet in an Assassin training ground. But whatever floats your boat, I suppose.
"Alright. What do we need to do?" I asked, leaning against the back wall.
"Not sure. Try and communicate with Blitz, and try to find the wa..ll." He trailed off, staring at the wall my right shoulder was on.
I quickly turned and saw a small keypad hidden under some mops and dustpans on the bottom of the wall.
JJ smirked at me, and pulled out the maps from his left pocket to get the code.
19, 8, 5, 18, 12, 15, 3, 11, 5, 4
The door clicked and unlocked slowly, revealing a small handle for us to pull and open the door with.
"JJ, I need you to-" I began.
"Uh huh. No way. I'm not staying out here while you risk your life and have all the fun. No way!" He hissed.
"But I need you to stay here in case Sherlock, Viper, Blitz, or someone we don't want comes upon us.. Come on, JJ, please." I whined back.
"Fine. Just this once. But when you need help, don't expect me to save your ass."
"Thanks, JJ. You're awesome." I smiled back.
"Yeah, yeah whatever. Don't do anything stupid. See you on the other side kid. Love you, sis."
"Yeah, love you too, bro."
<<<*>>>- JJ's PoV
'Please JJ, I need you to stay out here while I go inside and be totally awesome and stuff whoop I'm so cool blah blah blah..' I thought to myself angrily as I heard whispered voices and footsteps come up on the front door to the closet.
I scooted closer to the door, and listened in on the conversation.
"I don't know where they are. But we have to find them, and quickly." A hushed female voice said.
Blitz!
"I know, Blitz. But we have to be careful about it. We don't need anyone yelling our names throughout a place we aren't even supposed to be in!" A male voice returned, just as quietly.
I peeked my head out, and saw Sherl and Blitz standing there.
"Sherl! Blitz!" I hissed, waving my hand so they'd see me, even though it was dark.
"JJ?" Blitz returned, crouching down to my level.
"Yes! Come on.." I pulled her arm in, and Sherl crouched down to follow.
Once we got in, I quietly flipped the door and flipped on the dimmest flashlight we had.
"Where's Viper?" I asked.
"We don't know. We got separated." Blitz said, pulling out a water bottle from Sherl's pack.
"Where's Alpha?" Sherl asked me quickly.
"In there. She made me stay behind and watch for you two. Sherlock, you probably need to go in after her. She likes you the best."
He nodded and slipped off the pack, and darted through the entrance to find Brooklyn.
"Why'd you do that? He's the newbie!" Blitz hissed at me.
"That's exactly why, Blitz. I can't let you get hurt, nor Viper. I don't even know Sherl well, so it won't matter."
"You're heartless." She snapped back, preparing herself to run after him if necessary.
<<<*>>> Brooklyn's PoV
I ran through the dimly lit halls until I came upon an open, empty room with nothing in it but a small balcony that ran around the top of the perimeter of the room.
I scanned it with my eyes, and got ready to fight, until a voice began echoing throughout the room.
"Well, this is quite the turn-up, isn't it, Brooklyn?" An Irish voice asked me from the shadows behind me.
I whipped around and glared at him. "Shut up."
"Aw, but I thought we had an agreement! To keep little Sherly safe, now!" He said back.
"Shut up!" I snarled back angrily, pointing my gun at him.
"Aw, now.. That's not nice! We'll have to take care of that! Sebby, if you would!" He said cheerily, and then disappeared back into the shadows.
*BANG*
*BANG*
*BANG*
Three shots. Two misses. One hit. Three screams. Two close calls. One tragedy.
I narrowly avoided the first two, but the last one hit me in the stomach. I collapsed to the ground, and I heard Sherlock scream my name and run towards me.
"No.. No.." I heard him mumble.
In the fading distance, I heard two pairs of footsteps storming through the room and up the stairs towards 'Sebby', whoever he was.
I looked into Sherlock's eyes, and saw sadness.
"Hey.. Don't c-cry," I coughed up blood,"I'll be fine."
"B-but.." He stopped, choking on his words, "I'm sorry."
"Hey, it's alrigh-t.. I'll go in my best friends ar-.." I trailed off, not having the strength to keep speaking.
"NO! Brooklyn, please don't leave me.. I can't.. No.."
Then, the lights went out.
