Waking up screaming becomes a regular thing. Dreams of Becky dying, her corpse chasing you through the woods, bloody and emotionless, you being tortured by the demon and losing Dean over and over haunt your dreams. The only thing that keeps you grounded is Dean. He keeps you eating, sleeping, and staying in shape. Every time you wake up from your horrifying nightmare, he's always there, holding you in his arms and kissing you softly, whispering into your ear and calming you down.  He cooks your favorite meals and works out with you, never leaving your side. Without him, you'd be lost. Cas tried to heal you and remove the memories but to no avail. He was perplexed, saying that his angel powers were useless to whatever was happening in your mind. You understood, but couldn't help feeling scared and desperate. You played down the dreams and tried to convince everyone you were fine.
Cas and Sam have been trying desperately to summon Hazelle, the one the demon mentioned. They've also been having no luck. You help them research and eventually say "Maybe the demon lied. He could have told us anything and we would have believed him." They look at each other with doubt. You groan.
"Come on guys. We've been trying for weeks. She doesn't exist." You say. Dean comes into the room with a plate of sandwiches for Cas and Sam and a bowl of chicken noodle soup for you. You kiss him and smile.
"Thanks, Dean."
"Anything for you, princess." He sits beside you and asks Sam "so, how's it going?"
"Not good. Cas can't find her anywhere and I've summoned her three times today. Y/N thinks she doesn't exist, that it was just a ploy to get us to let him go." Dean nods slowly.
"So a dead end? And what about Y/N's nightmares? Cas can't heal her. She's not getting any better. I'm worried about her. Maybe if we find this stupid demon then it can put her back to normal."
"Right, just the small problem that she's not coming." Sam says sarcastically, grabbing a sandwich.
"I've done what I can for Y/N." Cas says. "That demon possessing Alex was powerful. Whatever he did to Y/N's mind is irreversible by anyone but a demon, maybe even that demon himself."
"Great, so I get to be a mental case forever?" You snap.
"It's not gonna be forever, baby. I'll fix this. I promise." Dean says, kissing you. All of a sudden, it's not Dean kissing you anymore. Your arms are bound behind your back and it's Alex, possessed. He kisses you and you struggle to break free. Suddenly your arms are untied. You shove Alex as hard as you can and turn to run away. You scream when he grabs your arm.
"Y/N! Y/N!" Alex shouts, he has Deans voice. You blink, and realize it's Dean holding your arm. You glance around frantically, taking in your surroundings. Cas and Sam stare at you with wide eyes.
"I-I'm sorry, Dean." You stammer. He lets go of your arm and hesitantly reaches out to take your hand.
"It's okay. I'm fine. Are you going to be okay?" He asks. You nod shakily.
"Y/N, I know I've asked you this 100 times, but did the demon say anything when he was torturing you? Anything we can use? Please try to remember." Sam asks gently.
"I can't remember, Sam. I just remember the pain and the blood and the screams." Your eyes well up with tears. "And Becky. It's my fault she's dead."
"Don't say that. Don't you ever say that." Dean says, taking you in his arms. You snuggle against him as he glares at Sam. "It wasn't your fault."
"I wish I could do more for you, Y/N." Cas says regretfully.
"You've tried, Cas. That's all you can do." You whisper. Dean pulls you up and faces you towards him. His green eyes stare intently into yours.
"You're going to be okay. I promise. I'm going to find out what's wrong with you." He says. You nod and lean forward to kiss him.
Later that day, you lie on the couch, covered in blankets, your head throbbing. Another headache. You've had them bad since you got back to the bunker. Probably a side effect of whatever the demon did to you.
Eventually you drift off to sleep. When you wake up, your hanging by your wrists in a warehouse. Panic seizes your body and you scream for help. You twist and try to free yourself, only to discover you're hanging about twi feet off the ground. You glance around wildly. How the hell did you get here? Suddenly a woman with curly black hair, heavily made up eyes, pale skin and decked out in a short black dress and heels appears. Her bright red lips curl into a smile.
"Hello, Y/N. I'm Hazelle." You want to scream again but just keep your mouth shut. She walks towards you.
"You're Dean Winchester's wife, correct?" She asks politely. You just glare at her. She sighs.
"Look, I don't want to hurt you. Yet. Just give me a simple yes or a no." You continue to stare her down.
"You've given me no choice." She snaps her fingers and Dean appears behind her, tied up and bloody.
"Dean!" You shriek. Hazelle smile and draws a knife. She heads over to Dean and stabs him in the leg. He cries out while you start pleading with Hazelle.
"Please! I'll give you whatever you want, just don't hurt Dean!" You cry.
"No, Y/N." Dean calls out weakly.
"I just want you to know I'm not here to play games. And you'll come to me. I'm not some dog that can be summoned." Hazelle says casually. "If you want your head fixed and Sam's fiancée back, then you'd better do exactly as I say." You nod and she continues.
"Drive to the Devils Gate in Wyoming. I'll meet you there. I want to make an offer to your husband." She snaps again and you wake up on the couch back in the bunker, gasping.
Dean looks at you with worry.
"You okay, Y/N?" Seeing he isn't hurt makes your heart soar. You run over to him and kiss him hard. He is surprised but then kisses you back.
"What were you dreaming about, babe?" He asks.
"I know how to find her. Hazelle." You say.
