(Rai-age 10)

truthfully I didn't know what had just happened. Why? Why would I ask Chiryo, who had already killed a man for killing her best friend to kill again? Even if she was a threat, I should have taken that responsibility.

As Chiryo ran over after killing Ju, who's body began to burn in the flames. Leaving a horrible crisping stench where I lay. she went on her knees, holding out her hands to see them glow a light green. Green like sparkles began to fall as I lay on the ground.

For a moment I felt relief before a horrible pain entered me. I let a scream leave my lips as I thrashed away from Chiryo's touch. "Kira"! Chiryo said, pulling me back over to her. "I told you! You have to feel the pain again to have it heal with no scares" She said sternly.

pushing her legs on to mine to keep mine down and raised a hand to feel something wrap around my hands. I looked at my left hand to see the same vines had wrapped themselves around my hands keeping them down. "No"! I cried, shaking my head. "Its to painful"

"Kira" Chiryo said in a slow kind matter, like when we first met. "Just think of something, or someone" She smiled, raising her hands to see light green sparkles once again. "It'll ease the pain"

I tried my best to look away from her, seeing to fire that had been put under control by the rain that still down poured. I hadn't even noticed how wet I was, my clothes covered in dirt and my hair stuffed with wood shavings and pine needles, blood still lightly falling down my cheek.

My mind seemed to fuzz up as the pain I was supposed to be feeling went numb. Memories that were filled with the same amount of pain filled my mind....

"Rai"! I heard someone shout, her voice sounded chocked up and raw. As I began to see the scene unfold.

I looked to see a girl in a pretty white dress, blood slashed across it. The girl with long blonde hair and sparkling teal eyes, was on the ground her face staring ahead.

I followed her eyes to see we were on a hill, dirt covered with flowers in little patches every where. If I wasn't following her eyes I would say it was a beautiful scenery.

When I finally saw what she was looking at, my face fell and I could feel my eyes begin to widen in horror.

"Kira" I heard a boy say in a ruff and heaving tone, he was being up by the neck, with no t-shirt and shorts, torn and burned? The boy struggled against the huge man in front of us who had jet black hair and no shirt as well. He had a pair of brown pants on him but his face was covered in anger.

"What the hell"! The man said, his voice gruff and cold. "Who sent you! No way am I giving up my Gold eyes! There my money"! He said, shaking Rai back and forth.

Rai clawed at his hands, but his arms were to tightly grasped. I looked to the little me "You have to do something"! I shouted, pointing to the man. "He's going to die"! I shouted, even though I knew just like all the other times. It was pointless.

I saw the little me, her eyes unmoved, frozen. She felt down under her dress to see a small belt wrapped around her inner thigh. She pulled out the object, a knife in her hands. Her hands held it tightly, but I could see them shaking slightly while she got to her feet.

This was a ten year old me. And I already had a knife on me? I could see the little me, her eyes constantly flickering from teal to sparkling. But then they suddenly went straight to teal. She walked toward the man, the blood on her white dress slowly staining downward.
