The dust doesn't bother them. It doesn't get in their eyes, or if it does they can't feel it. Simply because they have no feeling. 'They' is Raven, a God of death living in some barren wastelands with other gods. Needless to say, the other gods hate them.

Raven was drawing things in the sandy floor, the usual sound of the others laughing echoing into their ears. It's a normal thing for Raven to hear this, and they stopped caring whether they were laughing at them or with them.

"You should go on a trip!" Lilith croaked. Lilith was Raven's 'mortal enemy'. They both took these things too far sometimes. Lilith had peach coloured skin paired with a white goddess-y dress and bleach blonde hair.
"Gladly" Ravens voice was dead, their mouth barely moving as they stared at the drawing in the sandy ground.
"To the human world!!" Lilith croaked louder, her thin and dainty hand resting on the gash in her throat.
Everything went silent, and it seemed to only be Raven,crouching, holding their scythe, to be in touch with reality. They stood up and turned to face them, some loose ends on their bandages flapping about in the wind. "Okay." They said again, pointing their scythe at Lilith. "Only if you agree, to travel into the light when I return."

Lilith grabbed her scythe, her mouth deforming into horrifying sharp teeth you'd only see in horror manga. She swung her blade straight at Raven, managing to slice a small portion of their throat. Raven calmly place a finger on the slit, feeling blood. "Then I'm not going."

"You have to!!" Lilith screamed with what was left of her vocal chords. Raven kept them in a jar.
"Why?"
"Because!!"
"That's not a valid reason so I fail to see why I have to travel to the human world and potentially get killed for the sake of your happiness."
The blonde practically screamed, her voice distorted. She summoned a portal herself and grabbed Ravens arm, long white nails digging into their flesh. Raven got thrown into the portal, causing it to close after they passed the entrance. "Great."
Spirals of blue, black and purple surrounded them, soon turning into shades of red and black. Raven saw an opening on the horizon, their black crow feather dress turning into black jeans and a lumberjack shirt, their bandages staying around their hands and wrists but flying off from their legs. Their hair was the same, thick block bangs almost covering their eyes with those two longer strands either side, accompanying thick black hair. The sharp scythe converted into a small orb. Raven was used to the orb before and they knew how to activate it.
Words appeared in front of them, like smoke, showing their name, gender and personality. No one got to pick these things when they went to the human world.

Raven -> Raven Addams
Genderless -> female she/her
Short (5'3), hides emotions unless confronted by someone who's like her, flirty under certain circumstances, easily angered, lethargic.

Off she goes.
