Run.
That's all Mitch had on his mind as he shakily closed the door for his midnight run, well it was more of 3:00am run. The night was cold and bare, the missing clouds revealing the puzzle of blaring stars. The silver moon beamed over the quiet town that he lived in. Mitch began to run a steady pace as the music in his phone began to play, and he sank into a rhythmic run. Mitch had taken a new unknown root compared to his usually root on his nightly/daily run. His body would commonly find itself shrouded in shadows in unlit streets and alleyways. Mitch was running and he wasn't stopping for nothing, except him.
Adam.
The man he'd fell head over heels for.
The man he'd found drooling over
The man he'd fell hopelessly in love with.
The man that kept haunting his mind every second.Run faster
His mind was urging him to go faster, so he obeyed. Mitch letted out a preparing sigh and ran. The rairing sensation that flew through his veins was exhilarating. His chest had opened up freely as he spread his arms out and for the first time I forever,he smiled. But it was short lived and he letted out a answerless yelp as his knees gave out and he tumbled face forward onto the concrete ground. Pain inhabited his jaw and nose before fading, but the sharp pain in his head resumed. Mitch placed his grazed hand on the painful patch to feel a thick liquid.
Blood
Mitch sighed, his breath was heavy and his body was quaking in extortion, he leaned his weight on a neighbouring wall. His weak body slid down it's surface and sat helpless on the wet stone floor.
Why him?
Why Adam? His undying love for the man was killing him as he watched Adam raising a child, who Mitch loved almost as more as Adam himself. But what really killed him was seeing Adam with Alesha, the brunette that Adam adored greatly. Mitch felt tears pool in the corners of his eyes and he letted out a laugh. The laugh was dry and had no humour in it.
Trust him to do this to himself.
Trust him to fall In love with Mr perfect, literally.Mitch lifted himself up and turned to the way he came from, beginning to walk back to he and his best friend's floridan's house. Jerome was a great friend to Mitch, the only one that knew about his feelings for him. Mitch began to pick up his pace and soon was in caught a run, he ran even when the sky opened up itself to him. The rain was cold, numbing his nerves and freezing his warmth.
Run.
Mitch ran passed the gate to the house and continued to travel the opposite direction, through the frost bite cold wind and rain in silence. But soon the deafening silence was interrupted by a low whimper, tears streamed down his pail face as he released his emotions into the hollow hurting world.
Didn't Adam know?!
Didn't the American understand what he was doing? Didn't he see the relieving scars on his arms? Or the constant happy pills that he placed in drinks? Did he care?Mitch picked up his speed and began to sobb loudly.
"Just run away"
"Just.run.away"
♡♡♡♡
Mitch opened the door with his numb hands and stumbled into the pitch black house, his clothes soaked in freezing water and his head was aching. Mitch began to gloomy climb up the stairs when he heard a very familiar voice.
"Mitch, were have you been?"
Mitch turned around and saw Jerome standing in the dim light that he flicked on, his face covered in worry.
