I can't quite remember the day it all happened, but one thing's for sure, there's no place for a new blood in this earth, especially when the newblood is the only known one left of its kind.

The thought of the house still haunts me from this day. My mother always told me it was the worst place any of us could ever end up in. To mouse it's a mouse trap, to a dog it's a pound, but to a wolf, it's far more than certain death.

There were always tales of the house as she snuggled us up in the den. Mother always tried keeping it a secret, but somehow it had always leaked out.

"To a human, it is a testing facility. A place where creatures like us will end up being tested and tortured in. I don't quite know if they have any proof or clue if we exist, but I wouldn't want to find out." She told us one night as we relaxed in the den. " Infact, I wouldnt be surprised if they tried breeding us, only using the offspring for even more tests in that old house of theirs. But none of you little ones need to worry about that,as you promise me one little thing."

We happened to be at the age where promises didnt make any sense, but we dicided to listen to mother anyways. The four of us looked up at her, wagging our little tails as we waited for her to speak.

"When you do happen to be around humans, stay in their form. Luckily, they're to stupid and busy to notice any of their kind in disquise. Besides, if we are to live in this world unharmed, you've got to roll with the punches, do the things they do, and if possible, raise a pack of your own."

We all stood there confused for a short while. We had not known the meaning of the word. Then finally,One of my sisters stood up,"Pack? What does that mean?" She yipped.

Mother looked outside of the den for a moment, recalling the fact that none of us had ever experienced the ways of a pack. Mother had lived in a pack long before the development of the houses, but had decided to run off and start a life of her own." None of that matters now dear, just.... try your best, I promise you'll know soon enough."

The rain poured furiously that night as we slept, thunder clouds crashing together, giving the forest an earie feel. I looked up at her as the others snuggled near her. I had the same beautiful coat as her, a ambery redish brown. I had always been fond of carring the color she had , feeling like a little minature version of her rather than being my own self.

I yawned, snuggled up with the others near her, and slept. Though I had not known entirely what the house was, I took it like a grain of salt. Mother would always be there to protect me, standing tall by my side as we would spend our time hunting endlessly in the forest we called home.
I could already feel my other half of me awakening as I rested my head. I still wasn't sure I liked the human side to me, infact, I would have rathered stayed more of a wolf than anything. I shaked a little at the thought of disquising as one of them to stay alive. If it was up to me, I would of been a wolf all my life.I had only been in the form a couple of times, noticing only a few things about me appearence. Mother had told me when I was in my form, I was a long brown haired girl. She had told me I had freckles all over me, what ever that was.
t
I finally closed my own little eyes, using the sound of rain as my own lullaby. I stood their with much worry, still wonding about what was to become of me. I took a deep breath of cold air, and let darkness overwhelm me. I would always be safe with mother, for I thought she would never leave my side. But like most, I learned the hard way. The way that would effect my life as long as I were to live.

Part 2

"Alright you three, get up!" A cold hand pulled the leashes of three dogs. Two pitbulls, while the other unknown." I've talked to Baylor already, the hunt is on..." the dogs shook their mangy pelts as they nuged the smaller one up. "Get up forest, our master has spotted them." The mutt yawned as she awoke, licking her mangy muzzle as she prepared. "Alright alright, I'm up. This better not be anything stupid. " One of the pits snapped at the girl. "Don't you remember who's in charge? You're lucky major isn't here, or I would of teared out your mangy little......." The taller of the pitts walked promently twards the two, making googly eyes at the girl. " Hush it, you wouldn't  want to mess with my babe here with me around, would you rex?" The darker pit snarled at the tan dog, making the signal to leave. One alone, Major circled around the the smaller mutt." And how's my girl dong on this fine day, anything new in pirticular??" Forest stood tail tucked, whining as he got closer and closer to the girl.
"
" I'm not your "babe"Major, nor will I ever choose to dare....!" Major hushed the mutt as he got even closer. He sighed. "Pitty, pitty. I thought you would be a fine girl, considering that you're strong enough to carry my own pups... but since you won't co operate, I guess I'll have to do it my...."
