I have another chapter ready, thank the lord
Jeremy P.O.V
The nights stars glistened above me. Their hollow reminded me of myself. Millions upon millions dotted the onyx sky. Yet...In all reality, no matter how close the seemed, they were light years away; lifetimes apart. Just like the people of the world. My feet tapped against the sidewalk as I meandered along.
My mother and father demanded that I get a job. I wished I wasn't their child. I was ashamed to be called their son. Vice versa I'm sure. My father was a drug dealer, addicted to heroin and meth. He was gone most of the time, but beat me when he was around. My mother was a lust driven stripper. She would often work overtime, cheating on my father. Not that he cared. She would touch me sexualy all the time. Why she did it? I never knew.
I took another glance at the pitch black sky. Only a few stars littered the space above me.
The past was still haunting me. I wish with all of my heart that this job would change that. I didn't those thoughts plaguing my mind anymore.
I blinked at a sudden bright light. A large sign hung above the desolate restaurant. 'Freddy Fazbear's' Pizzeria' it read. It was a small entertainment center filled with cheap arcade games, horrid pizza, and malfunctioning animatronics. My sister would bring me here as much as she could when we were younger. Her name was Vanessa. She was the light of my life. One day...She disappeared; out of nowhere. I looked and looked. I even contacted the police. We never found her, and my parents never gave it a second thought. On the outside-for everyone to see-they gave worried looks. On the inside, the rejoiced about having one less kid to worry about. They hid their carelessness well.
I stepped into the abandoned building. The aged walls were lined with dirty tile. The carpeted floor was littered with grease stains and stuck on food. Down the hallway shined a dim light. As I approached it, humming to 'I Hate Everything About You' by Linkin Park was heard in a deep voice. My hands timidly held the edge of the doorway. i took a deep breath, pulling myself into the room.
Inside sat a young man, about my age. He had long, black hair that was flipped around as he bobbed his head. His fingers tapped the cell phone on the. He tore out his earphones and scowled at me. I grew nervous at the action.
"So, you must be the new guy." He spoke grumpily.
I gulped. "Y-Yes sir." My voice was low and fear ridden.
The man lift an eyebrow. He took a look at his wristwatch before gazing back up at me. I tugged at the sleeves of my new uniform. It was a sky blue button up shirt, and long, black dress pants. The man stared me in the eyes, instantly making me floor over with panic and anxiety.
"Alright, well,I guess I'll have to show you the ropes. It's not that hard, but pay attention."
I swiftly nodded my head.
"Ok, so, the animatronics here roam the halls at night. In order to survive, we must close the doors when they come close enough."
He motioned towards the doors to the left and right of us.
"The top button shines the light, and the bottom one shuts the door. Another way we keep ourselves alive is the cameras'."
He pulled a small tablet off of the desk.He tapped on different boxes, highlighting different rooms. I had caught a glimpse of the different animatronics, sending a shiver down my spine. He looked back over a me.
"Yeah, they don't tell you this crap when you sign up. But trust me, it's not as hard as it sounds." He added with a grin. "I'm Mike by the way."
I timidly took his hand, politely shaking it. I made sure to keep my eyes hidden by my bangs.
"I'm J-Jeremy. I-It's nice to m-meet you." I respond.
He smirked. "Jeremy, that's a nice name."
I looked back at him with a slight blush. The pink on my cheeks flared.
"T-Thank you." I uttered out.
I've never gotten a compliment before. The chime went off, startling me. Let the game begin.
Mike P.O.V
I stared blankly across the room. The stench of the building flooding all around me. I heaved a large sigh. Turning my head, I spotted Jeremy fumbling with the tablet. He quickly looked over the rooms before looking down. He adjusted his sleeves, then flashed the hallway light. Jeremy seemed quick and smart.
He prayed to god he would last. He didn't want to witness another guards' demise.
He looked over at me, his dirty blond hair hung in his eyes. I couldn't see the color of his eyes.
"Oui!"
He cocked his head to the side.
"W-What?"
"Why do you cover your eyes?"
I could sense him tense up.
"I-I don't know w-what you mean?" He tried to be coy.
I lift an eyebrow.
"Yes you do. Don't be like that man! Why do you cover your eyes?"
He vigorously shook his head. "I-I can't tell you!" He whinned.
I grunt. "And why not? What's your big secret, hmm?"
He looked back to the side. Jeremy quickly picked up the tablet, shuffling through all of the different cameras'. His face suddenly contort in fear.
"M-Mike!"
I snatched the tablet from him. Upon looking at it i saw Bonnie. He was staring into the camera from the back room. A set of chills crawled up my back. I had never seen him like that before. His eyes were cold and lifeless. 'They were pitch black, except for the pupil, which was white. We seemed to staring at each other. It was like a battle. I slammed the tablet down, seeing Jeremy flinch from the corner of my eye.
"Well crap." I grumbled.
[Just saying, I should have a new chapter by tomorrow. Thanks.]
