Charlie
He doesn't notice about anything too much. Not really. In fact,he didn't care who goes in and out of the cafe.Being the barista,he knew some of the usual customers and smiles at them but then, they never became his friends.
But today is an exception.
He didn't know if it was the universe or it was just him who allowed himself to finally give a damn about the smiling girl on the counter requesting for a cup of tea and a cheesecake.Or maybe he just noticed her because he have to,
he was the one at the counter and the other guys are busier than him.Or partly because there's something in her eyes when those met his. There's some spark of hope and innocence in those eyes that he can't fail nor refuse. And when he'd asked her name to write it on a styro cup,she answered in a cheerful tone.
Sam
That's when, he figured out and decided,
that she brought her wonder, and chills.
