The Devil's Daughter

Prologue

I've been cut. The blood trails down my hand. So warm and sticky yet it's all I crave. It's been done so many times I don't even feel pain anymore. My arms and back are a testimony of that. They are scared, the sins of evident in bold pink slashes. Another one, I'm silent and it gets him mad.

" Scream you insignificant worm!" He sneers and I Stare into space.

He back hands me and my head bounces off the wall. My own blood pools in my mouth. The force caused me to bite through my tongue. I simply sit there as my head throne with what would have been excruciating pain a few hundred years ago. Now it's just a mild irritation. My short hair is caked in blood and seat. He grabs my head digging his claws painfully into my scalp. He brings me closer to him. The place is silent, even the tortured screams of the damned and howls of pleasure from bells demons cease.

" Are you immune to my torture darling?" He asks, his rancid breath fanning my face. I'm too tired to even be disgusted.

" Answer me weakling!" He shouts spit landing on my face.

I smile. A smile that must have looked terrifying because he backed away a little. It was the smile of a tortured sinner who had finally cracked.

" Yes" I say cackling.

Then I do something unheard of. I break the chains of hell and literally had the devil by the throat on the ground.

" Yes! Finally my little girl had grown up!" He wheezed and does the closest thing a person can do to a cackle while they're windpipe is being crushed. I smirk.

" Yes daddy!" I say and snap his neck.

Yes I'm the devil's daughter. So what? I was about to walk out of the room when he was resurrected. Damn bitch won't die.

" Not so fast baby girl, we have work to do" he says and I roll my eyes.

" Go to hell"

" Too late"

" Bad joke"

" I'm a bad man"

" If you call being the devil being a ' bad man' that's the understatement of the millennia" He takes my hand.

" Well you are my daughter" I wish I could forget.
