"There you guys are!" Mom exclaimed as we brought the food into the kitchen.
"Sorry," I sighed, setting the pies down, "I felt like crap again this morning."
"And I'm trying to get her to go to the doctor's," Ian piped in.
"I'm fine," I said, "Just a little food poisoning, that's it," I said, kissing him on the cheek.
"Well, either way, we're almost ready to eat, Taylor and Eddie will be back soon, they left to get pop," Mom said as she checked the turkey in the roaster.
"What do you need me Ian and I to do?" I asked.
"Everything's ready except for the gravy and potatoes," she replied.
"I can get the potatoes," Ian said.
"They're boiled and everything they just need to be strained and mashed, the mixer is on the counter," Mom replied.
"I've got the gravy," I said, grabbing the packet of gravy mix from the cupboard.

Ian's POV
Three hours later, we had already eaten lunch and Nat, Mrs. Pearson, and Taylor were getting dessert ready in the kitchen and Mr. Pearson had gone out to get ice cream from the store.
"So how many times have you wanted to kill my sister since you moved in with her?" Eddie asked as we watched the Red Wings game.
"Well mostly she wants to kill me," I laughed, "I told her she had a nice ass last night and she flipped me off.
"Be glad she didn't kick you in the shins," he laughed, "We were at the mall once and this creep cat-called her so she walked over and kicked him in the shins."
"I can see that happening," I replied, "We saw Ashlyn Webster last month and I'm pretty sure she would've clawed her eyes out if I hadn't been holding her hand.
"Oh jeez," Eddie laughed, "She's definitely a fighter, she always has been."
"I'm worried about her right now," I sighed, "She's been puking every morning and she's been so tired lately."
"What does she think?" he asked.
"She thinks it's just food poisoning," I replied with a sigh.
"What do you think it is?" he asked.
"I don't know," I replied, shaking my head.
"Let's ask WebMD," he laughed, pulling out his phone.
"What does it say?" I laughed.
"The flu," he said, scrolling down until he started laughing, "Shit, you didn't knock her up did you?"
"Oh my God," I said, my face turning red as Eddie sat there laughing.
"Holy shit, did you?" he asked, his laughter ceasing.
"Um," I said.
"Who's ready for dessert?" Natalie called from the kitchen.
"We are!" I replied, wanting to change the subject as soon as possible.
"Here you go," she said, jumping on the couch next to me.
"Thanks," I said, kissing her on the cheek.

Natalie's POV
"So, uh, how are you feeling Nat?" Eddie asked.
"Fine now that I puked my guts before getting ready this morning," I replied, taking a bite of my pie.
"You should probably go to the doctor, haven't you been feeling shitty lately?" he asked.
"Nice try Ian," I said, shooting Ian a glare.
"I'm just saying," Eddie said as Mom and Taylor walked in.
"Oh jeez, what are you just saying this time?" Taylor asked.
"I'm saying Natalie should go to the doctor because she's been puking every morning," Eddie said.
"You have?" Mom asked.
"I'm fine Mom," I insisted, rolling my eyes and mentally slapping Ian for bringing it up. I figured it was just the flu or food poisoning but was leaning more toward the flu now that it had lasted a week or two.
"You're right," Eddie said, "Who needs the doctor when you have WebMD?"
"Eddie don't," I groaned as he whipped out his phone.
"Nausea, fatigue, what else?" Eddie asked.
"Increase in appetite," Ian remarked.
"Ian Pearson!" I snapped, punching him in the arm.
"Well according to WebMD you either have food poisoning, the flu, or-" he said before pausing.
"Or what?" I asked.
"You're pregnant," he said with a straight face before bursting into uncontrollable laughter.
"Oh my God I'm going to kill you!" I exclaimed, my cheeks burning as they turned a bright shade of red.
"Very funny Eddie," Mom said, shooting him a glare after just about spewing her red wine all over the white carpet.
"Just saying," he said, "Maybe Ian and Natalie could help us out with narrowing things down?"
"Oh my God," I groaned, "Please someone just shoot me now."
"Well you two have been pretty touchy-feely lately," he remarked.
"She's going to kill you if you keep talking," Taylor said.
"I'm already dead so I might as well get my money's worth," he laughed.
"Can we please talk about something else other than-" I began to say.
"Natalie and Ian's intimate relations?" he smirked.
"I'm going to wash the dishes," I said, taking Ian and I's plates.
"Think it was me?" Eddie remarked as I walked out.
"What the hell did you say to him?" I fumed as Ian came into the kitchen.
"I said I was worried about you," he said, "and he googled the symptoms and was just joking."
"Because that's such a great topic to discuss around Mom," I said, rolling my eyes, "Ian I'm fine, I'll go to the doctor next week if you really want me to."
"Please? I just want you to be okay," he said.
"Anything for you," I smiled.

I had to admit, I was a little worried about being sick. Normally, I wasn't sick for more than two days, but I had been throwing up for two weeks, Ian just only knew about the three days beforehand. I wanted to kill Eddie for joking about me being pregnant, my mother would be beyond pissed at the mere suggestion of me being pregnant or insinuating that anything intimate had happened between Ian and I. Believe me, I was all for waiting until the time was right to have sex but my mom acted like we couldn't keep our hands off each other and we were going to sleep together as soon as we had our own place, which was pretty much as far from the truth as possible.
"I'm going to sleep until noon," I sighed as I crawled into bed that night.
"Me too," Ian sighed as I shifted closer to him, burying my head in his chest.
"I love you," I said after a minute or two of silence.
"I love you too," he said, kissing my lips, "Even if I worry too much."
