Her mind told her to just smile,
Because her heart assured her that it'll be over in a little while.
Her mind told her to befriend the blade,
Because her heart whispered that it would make the pain fade.
Her mind told her to push the ones she loved away.
Because her heart told her their love for her would never stay.
Her mind told her to jump off a building that was sky high,
Because her heart promised that she would fly.
You see darkness tampered with her heart and head,
Because all the demons wanted her dead.
