Chapter 10

"Shawn!" I heard Camila yell

"Hey Camila...Lauren."

" I thought you weren't coming."

"Well here I am and I brought you food."

"Thanks but Lauren already beat you with that."

"Yeah, I can see that. Umm..did I interrupt something? "

"No, we were just talking"

"Yeah" I agreed.

"I can come back another day since Lauren already fed you and you don't look as sad as you sounded."

"Yeah Lauren does a great job at making me feel better when I'm down."  Camila said as she faced me and played with her lower lip.

I was blushing at the comment but looked at Camila. We stared at each other for  a little but then I broke the staring contest.

"I think I'll come back tomorrow Camila." Shawn said

"No! Please stay. I haven't seen you in awhile and I want to catch up."

"Alright, Ill stay but only for a little because its getting late."

He made his way towards Camila's bed and that was when I decided to leave.

"I gotta go, its getting late. Keana is waiting for me."

"Hey, stay just a few minutes so we can get to meet Shawn."

"Yeah Lauren, it sounds like a great idea. Camila has talked about you a lot and I wanna get to meet the person Camila wont shut up about."

I raised an eyebrow when I heard him say that Camila talked to him about me. Why was Camila talking to him about me and what the hell did she tell him about me.

"Camila talks about me? Good things I hope."

"They are actually"

I looked at Camila but refused to stay. I wanted to, to figure out what Camila told him about me but I couldn't stand him looking at her like that; like he was head over heals for her.

" I really can't... but maybe some other time."

"Sounds good"

"I'll see you guys later."

Once I was downstairs, Camila's parents were still in the living room and so was Sofi.

"I'm gonna head out now. It was nice seeing you guys."

"You're always welcomed here mija. How is Camila?"

"She should be great now that Shawn is here." I heard myself saying in annoyed tone.

"Lauren! You're leaving! Don't stay for awhile longer! Please!" I heard Sofi calling from the living room and seconds later she was in front of me.

"I cant little bug but I'll come another day and only me and you can hang out ok?"

"Fine! But thanks for coming and making Camila better."

"Anytime baby." I knelt down to give her a hug.

I made my way to the door when I heard footsteps coming from the stairs.

"Lauren wait!"

I turned to face the voice that belonged to Camila.

"Yeah? Whats wrong?"
