Knowing Me, Knowing You (Diggy Simmons Fanfiction)

I said bye to everyone at the studio, grabbed my things and left. I was a model and had just gotten done with a photoshoot.  I grabbed my phone when I heard my best friend's, Chyanne, ringtone go off.

"Hey girl." I answered  my phone.

"Where are you? I'm dying of boredom over here." she said, sounding as sad as possible.

"I'm leaving now. I'm gonna go pick you up but before we do anything I have to go see Angela and Vanessa."

"Okay, I'll be waiting." she hung up and I started the car. I got to our house just as our other roommate/best friend, Audrey, was pulling up. We all moved in together right after we graduated high school. We walked inside to see Chyanne running down the stairs.

"Finally! I've been by myself all day."

"You know you have a car right?"

"Yeah, but what was I supposed to do by myself?"

"I don't know. But let's go. Are you coming Audrey?"

"To see Ang and Nessa?"

"Yeah."

"Duh. I love those two. Let's go." we went out to the car and Chyanne put on the Diggy Simmons CD I had in there. We were at the girls place in about 10 minutes. We knocked and Justine came and answered the door for us.

"Hey girls. Angela and Vanessa are in the kitchen with everyone." she let us in and we walked through the doorway that led into the kitchen. We saw what she had meant by "everyone" when we walked in. Jojo and Russy were there. Then on the other side of the island was Diggy, Lil Twist, Lil Za, Khalil, Spin, and Roger.

"Oh, hey. You all came. Let's get away from all these boys." we laughed and walked to the living room. They were gonna have me come up with some designs that I liked for their line of shoes, Pastry. The boys were being as loud as they could so we could hear them trying to annouy all of us. We were in the middle of talking when Diggy came in.

"Hey girls. I'm Diggy, which you probably know, but you girls can call me Daniel." He smiled at us but then looked at me. "And who are you?"

"Oh, uh, I'm Kylie." the girls coughed to get my attention, and I rolled my eyes. "And these are my best friends Chyanne and Audrey." he laughed and nodded. 

"You can leave now Daniel. We were talking." Vanessa said, annoyed. 

"Okay, well I'll see you three later." he walked back out to where the boys were. We finished our conversation and they told us we could hang out and stay for dinner if we wanted. Once those two left the living room, we heard a bunch of feet running towards the living room.

"Told you I'd see you guys later. You know who all the boys are right?" Daniel said when he sat down between me and Chyanne. We all nodded and there was an awkward silence since no one knew what to talk about. Za spoke up to break the silence.

"So, do you three live here in L.A.?"

"Yeah, our whole lives. We've known each other since 1st grade."

"Damn. How old are you guys?" Twist asked.

"We're all 18. We just graduated a couple months ago."

We all ended up breaking off into our own little conversations. Chy went to talk to Khalil and Audrey was pulled on the other couch to talk to Twist. Me and Daniel talked the whole time we were sitting there until Angela said the dinner was ready. I sat next to Daniel and Audrey, who sat next to Twist.

"We hope they didn't bother you too much. They can get annoying sometimes." Angela laughed. 

"No, it was kinda fun hanging out with them."

"Yeah, we should all hang out again sometime." Audrey said.

"Yeah, let's all go to the beach sometime."

"How about tomorrow. We aren't busy." Daniel said. Everyone looked at me for an answer.

"...I guess. We'll all meet here tomorrow if that's okay."

"Yes! I can't wait."

We finished dinner and me, Audrey, and Chy went to grab our stuff. They left to go talk to everyone while I checked the texts I had gotten while I was eating. I felt someone sit down next to me on the couch. I turned around and saw Daniel sitting next to me. He had his head back on the back of the couch with his eyes closed.

"Hey.." I said, not knowing why exactly he came in here.

"Oh, I was just waiting for you to finish whatever you were doing." he sat up and smiled. "I just came to talk to you...without everyone else bothering us. They're just hanging out in the backyard." I nodded and smiled. "So, how about we ditch everyone else tomorrow and go somewhere else?"

"What did you have in mind?"

"I was thinking we could go to Disneyland."

"You know, I've lived in L.A. my whole life and I've never been there. That sounds fun." he smiled.

"Good. We'll just take my car tomorrow and have everyone else go together." he got his phone out of his pocket and handed it to me. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. He smiled as I took his phone and put my number in. I gave him his phone back and handed him mine. We went to the backyard where everyone else was once he gave me my phone back.

"You ready to go? We have a long day for us tomorrow." Chy asked when I sat down next to her.

"I guess. I am pretty tired." We said bye to the girls then all of the boys walked us to the door. I gave all of them hugs then I saw Daniel standing against the door.

"You're not leaving without giving me a hug first." I laughed and he reached his arms out for a hug. I went to give him a hug and he pulled me into his arms. "I can't wait for tomorrow." he whispered in my ear.

"Neither can I." I pulled away and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He smirked and walked me out to the car. I got in the drivers seat and started the car. Za was yelling something so I rolled down Audrey's window.

"Y'all better be at 11 AM sharp! Or I'm slappin' a hoe!"

"Ha! Yeah right boy. We'll get here when we're ready!" Za ran over to come get her through the window but I sped off the second he was off the steps. We were laughinh the whole way home. 

We got home and decided to watch some movies. Daniel texted me until we were done watching the movies and we were walking upstairs to go to bed.

"Girl, who's got you smiling like a crazy ass bitch over here?" Chyanne tried grabbing my phone. I almost dropped it trying to keep it away from her but Audrey caught it and ran off to her room.

"Audrey! Open this door right now!" the door flew open and she had an evil smirk on her face.

"So, ditching us for Daniel and Disneyland, huh?"

"It was his idea..."

"I don't care. I can tell you like him! And you two are cute as fuck together." they both laughed.

"I don't like him like that. We JUST met."

"Just give it some time.." she handed me my phone.

"Whatever. Go to bed. We have plans for tomorrow." I walked down to my room and closed the door. I could still hear them laughing. I really didn't know what was going on in my head at the moment. I was so confused. He was cute and sweet and funny, but like I told them, we had just met tonight. I don't want to rush into something and then get hurt in the end. I have to figure out what is going on. I need to talk to him tomorrow when we go to Disneyland...clear up everything. I just don't want to lead him on if I don't feel the same about him.
