Chapter 4

Dante's POV (Woop Woop A New One!)

                     Laurence and Aphmau have been gone for over a week now.. I need to go looking for them. Yes, they told me to stay and (Mocks) "Guard the village" but seriously I think they were just trying to get rid of me. Like, the last time something bad happened in Phoenix Drop was when shadow knights attacked. I put Dale in charge. Just to be sure.

                                                                          -- Three hours later--

  Gah.. I've been traveling for hours! "I just want to give up and go home.." I mumble to myself.. But as I keep walking I see Garroth... GARROTH?!?! What?! I don't know how he's here but he looks terrified.. I climb the tree beside them and look down from above.  I see someone about to kill Laurence. Garroth spots me. He starts smiling. I really want to jump down and kill the "King" as Garroth mouthed to me.  But I have to wait for the right moment. I wait till the King asks Laurence "Any last words?". That's when I jump down and kick the King in the back of the head. He passes out on top of Laurence and Laurence starts to scream like a girl "EEEEE GET THIS DOUCH OFF ME!! GAH HE GOT BLOOD ON MY UNIFORM! THANKS A LOT DANTE!" 

"Hey! I just saved your life!" I grab his hand and pull him back on  his feet.

"And now for you Garroth. H-How-"  He cuts me off  "GAH! I might as well tape a piece of paper to my head so I don't have to explain it to EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. IN. THE. UNIVERSE." And we sit beside the tree and he explains everything to me.

Laurence's face turns pale. "G-Guys.. Where's Aphmau?!" We all stand up and look around.

Laurence starts to hyperventilate. We start laughing at him and he just screams at us "SHUT UP!" But as soon as he finally decides to get back up on his feet, Aphmau jumps on his shoulders and starts giggling like crazy..

Laurence smiles the brightest smile I've ever seen.

We start to walk back to Phoenix Drop. Its almost sunset and we still have 2 more hours of a walk. We're all exhausted. Especially Laurence, from carrying Aphmau on his shoulders for so long.. She keeps on asking him if he's tired and that if he gets tired to put her down but stubborn Laurence just says "Nope. Im fine."

"How about we find a place to rest for tonight. I am EXHAUSTED from fighting Zane in Irene's Dimension.. I'm just so thankful that you guys haven't aged like old Dante here has. " 

I laugh. "Shut yo face hole Garroth. Oh.. What this I see? *Gasp* Its a grey hair!"

Garroth starts freaking out and asking every five seconds "Are you SURE that it didn't reverse and I aged but you didn't?!" and "OH NO! WHAT IF IM 50 AND DONT KNOW IT?!"

Aphmau grabs a large tree branch and pulls herself into a tree. Laurence collapses of exhaustion. Aph just keeps on climbing till shes at the top. We cant see her anymore because the trees covered in leaves. We find a cave right beside the tree Aph's in and garroth picks up Laurence and drops him in the pile of leaves we each have for beds.

"GARROTH! YOU CANT JUST DROP HIM!"

"Hah. He's fine Dante. He survived that one time when I pushed him off a cliff because I wanted Aphmau all to myself. "

"YOU WHAT!?!" and we just start laughing like crazy.

Then it becomes silent.

"Garroth, do you still love Aph?

"What? OH. Oh.. I mean. In a way I guess.. But after whats happened I honestly like her more as a friend now. Besides im shipping Laurmau now!! *He shows me his phone with Laurence and Aphmau toghether as his background.*

 "Garroth.. Isn't shipping a girl thing?"

" Kind of. DONT TELL!" *He pushes me to the ground*

*Laurence wakes up*   "Whoa.. What did I miss?"

I don't think ive ever been so embarrassed..

Aphmau's POV

     Laurence seems tired. So I grab a tree branch and use all my might to pull myself up. I climb to the very top of the tree. I see a village really far away. I assume its Phoenix Drop.  I sit on a brach and admire the beautiful place. I feel a light fall breeze blow gently on my face as I was the purple and orange sunset. Its just gorgeous. I look down at the cave Laurence, Dante and Garroth are in. I hear a loud thud but I assume its just them horsing around. As I look into the distance I see someone.. It looks almost like Zoey.. A-And whos that beside her? *Gasp* Z-Zane?! I see the light reflect off Zane's sword. Someone grabs my leg and pulls me down the tree. I collapse onto the ground. Ouch.. I can barely see.. and my foot hurts really bad. As if I've been stabbed with a knife multiple times.. But no time to worry about myself I need to get to Zoey.. NOW!  I start to run towards the spot, running into trees often. I hear Laurence.. Or Dante?.. Or.. Garroth? I cant tell.. It might even be them all.. They keep on shouting at me telling me to stop.. But I wont stop.. Zoey's my family.. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten..

Laurence's POV

 A few minutes after I woke up I saw Aphmau fall out of the tree. Her foot was bleeding terribly and she looked like she didn't know how to walk.. As if everything was blurry. I immediately ran out to  check on her, but as soon as I got there she just started running.. I don't know where.. But she was running, and running quick.. And she was evening running on her foot that's gushing blood.. She winces in pain every step. I can tell somethings wrong.. But what?

I turn around and Dante and Garroth are behind me telling me to keep following her.. So I do.

She stops at a corner and looks around her.. She faints. I grab her as fast as I can and hear something.. I slowly walk.. to see who it is.. I hide behind a tree and peek around it. Sure enough, as soon as I peek around the tree, Zane's there.. watching me. And Zoey's beside him.. On the ground.. Bloody, Bruised and weak. Garroth and Dante catch up to me and Dante runs around and grabs Zoey while Garroth fights off Zane..    

Then Garroth yells at us "TAKE THEM BACK TO PHOENIX DROP! AND GET THEM BETTER! His voice softens "and if I don't make it out of here alive..  tell Aph my story.."

We make it back to Phoenix drop.. Im worried sick about Garroth but I run to Donna and tell her what happened.. She takes them to the guard tower and lays them down.. I wait outside.. Flustered..

Donna runs out and looks at me with a sad, depressing face..

Omg XD hai.. So.. Um.. Yea.. ugh I honestly want to jump ahead and give you all the moment you've been waiting for.. but sadly, I cannot ;-;
