Zeboo Chronicles

Part 4

Zeboo couldn’t believe that she was standing in front of the fairy god mother Avira. Zeboo had never seen the fairy god mother before. But her fairy friends had told her a lot about their god mother before. 

Avira appeared to be the most magnificent of all things she had ever seen and heard. Her clothes were made of golden laces and all the precious stones out there. Her crown was made of the rarest diamonds and shone like the sun even in the darkness.

Happy tears started to roll down her cheeks. She went closer and tightly hugged the fairy god-mother and she in turn comforted Zeboo. Suddenly she remembered something and extricated herself from the hug. She asked the fairy god-mother about the other fairies.

"Dear child, there is this wizard trying to get the power to dominate the entire world. He has already started to destroy all the nearest villages to build his kingdom;  I was the one who sent the fairies to you to warn you so that you could save the villagers. He has enchanted all the fairies to be his slaves by his evil spell. I am the only fairy that he could not put a spell on because of my ancestors crown which is guarding me from any evil spells. I am here to ask your help to destroy the wizard"

Zeboo was frozen upon hearing these words; She worried about her fairy friends and thought to herself : "What  can a 16 year old girl do to destroy the most powerful wizard on the planet?"

Avira could read Zeboos thoughts and told her:

"Don’t you worry Zeboo; It was written that you are the only one who can kill the wizard. You will know why when its the time; Till then just follow my instructions"

Zeboo was shocked upon hearing what the fairy god mother had said. She asked herself " Why me? What’s so special about me?"
