The next day at school was pretty fast, Ellen and Portia spent the whole day talking about stuff getting to know each other. Got in trouble a few times. But that didn't bother either of them.
Ellen's POV
Today at lunch I said I would meet Portia outside, on my way out there I was stopped by some girls.
"You're the new girl aren't you?"
I nodded
"You look like a boy, are you?"
"Clearly not if my names Ellen.." I answered back
"Look Mindy, new girl is being cocky "
I shrugged and tried to walk away but as I did I felt an almighty pain to my face which sent me flying into the lockers, at which point a crowd gathered and Mindy was kicking me. I had my face covered and was in a ball trying to protect myself. All I could hear was laughing and pictures being taken. Then all of a sudden.
"Oi, why don't you pick on someone your own size Mindy, leave Ellen out of it!" It was Australian
I removed my hands and sat myself up and saw Portia having a go at the girls. As they walked away, she ran towards me asking me if I was okay. I started to cry and she held me close holding my hands. The crowd began to break away still taking pictures. I felt safe with the green eyed girl.
Portia's POV
I asked Ellen to meet me outside at lunch so we could talk more. I waited a while before hearing laughing and a loud bang. I walked into the hall to find Mindy and her girls bullying someone, to my attention it was Ellen. I felt a sudden anger go over me and I just hit the roof. It felt good to have a go at these girls but as soon as they left I rushed over to my Ellen to see if she was okay. Her blue eyes has glazed over and she was upset, I sat down next to her and held her close. I think I'm starting to like her. She's beautiful in every way and now she needs me more than ever.
After school I walked Ellen home and she asked if I wanted to come in, I agreed, I want to be around her all the time. We sit down on the sofa and cuddle, I play with her hair and sing to her. Ellen turns and gives me a huge hug "thank you for today. I don't know what would of happened if you hadn't stepped in"
"Don't worry about it babe, I won't let anyone hurt you."

Ellen's POV

Omg!! I'm kissing her!!

Portia's POV

Ellen smiled at me, that smile is beautiful and she really is beautiful. I close my eyes for a minute which turns out to be all night. I wake up to the sound of barking. I open my eyes and Ellen was sprawled across me peacefully sleeping. I kiss her cheek before holding her waist and falling back to sleep.
