Chapter 3

Ari's POV

As I sat on the field waiting for my mate to return, I was greeted by "Jace"

"Ok, I have some good news and some bad news," he said happily. "But first you need to shift", I shifted and he handed me a large shirt and continued.

"Good news, The Alpha is allowing you to join the pack, bad news, you will have to be staying in the pack house" I scoffed angrily

"What does he have against me? Is there something wrong with me?" I asked, tears starting to form in my eyes.

"No, it's no that. It's just that he found his other mate, and they promised each other that no matter what, they would get married and have kids and live old together." He stated, huffily. I could tell why though, I mean, I would be such a better Luna, right?

"Well Ari it's time to follow me" he said, I stood up wearily, waiting for his next move.

"Relax, we are going to the pack house"I sighed.

After a fairly short walk, we arrived at a big house.

Jace lead me inside and instantly a girl showed up by Jace

"Hey baby" she said seductively.

"Not now Becca"he said angrily.

"But I miss you soo much, and who are you?" She asked finally seeing me

"Your future Luna" I said cockily smirking.

"Our Alpha already has a Luna you whore" she said angrily, ok, I know that packs are protective of there Luna, but damn this girl loved her Luna.

Getting agitated Jace pulled me away

"Hey who was that over there" I asked curiously.

"This psychotic bitch that won't leave my alone" Jace answered

"And here is your room" he opened the door and I looked inside, the walls were a nice blue color, and there was a dark wood bed with cream sheets, and a walk in closet to the left, and what I'm guessing is is another door leading to the bathroom.

"Well if you need anything, you can come to my office, it's on the first floor, once you reach the bottom of the stairs turn right and make another right, first door on the left. Oh and someone will come up and give you some clothes" he said,

"Alright, see ya later" I said and he left the room and shut the door.

I plopped down on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

I just don't understand, why would he want his untrue mate, instead of me. And trust me, I know it sounds selfish, but, it's my happiness to, I don't have a second mate, I only have my Black Alpha

I am suuuuuuper busy and I wish more than anything my book could write itself, but it can't :(

Anyway, hopefully by the time my winter break is over, I will have a new chapter out
