Niall's POV
We kissed until the both of us couldn't hold our breath anymore. I pulled Bailee up to the surface of the water. I ran my fingers through her tangled hair until it was smooth again, then pressed my lips to hers.
"Ughh, come on you two! You can have time for that later, but for now can we please just have time together?" Camryn whined from the table.
Bailee pulled away and smiled at me. "I guess we should go."
I helped her out of the pool and the both of us sat down next to each other, holding hands underneath the table.
Liam brought over the food, which looked delicious. Everyone started passing around plates and talking. We hadn't had this sort of bonding time since our first tour. I felt like Bailee had brought us together. Even though we had fought a lot in the past two months, she was still the girl I saw coming down the stairs with her broken flip flops, sandy shorts, and the scared look on her face that I knew I was going to fix. The girl I loved so much to the point where it hurt.
Our hands left one another to put foods on our plates, but immediately put them back together once we were done.
"Liam, this is super good! I didn't know you could grill." Bailee exclaimed after taking a bite out of her burger.
"Not as good as Niall's cooking, but thanks." He smiled, showing off his little boy face.
Bailee looked at me and smiled too.
The dinner continued for a while. Everyone was having a good time. Laughing, and telling stories from even before all of our girls came into our lives.
Every time Bailee laughed or said "aww", I just wanted to kiss her, and found myself falling even more in love with her than I already was.
And that's why I couldn't tell her the real reason why I was passed out on the beach.

Bailee's POV
The dinner was perfect. It was the first time all of us got together without any drama, or awkwardness. I almost forgot that any of them were famous. It just felt like they were friends that I had had forever, not only two months.
Niall and I were closer than ever. Our ups and downs brought us closer together.
After about two hours, all of us decided to wrap things up for the night.
The boys went inside to go talk to management, who had called towards the end of our dinner.
Morgan helped Hannah get up and went inside with her. Hannah hadn't been feeling very well lately, but she still wanted to spend time with us.
Camryn started to clear plates off the table, and Kirsten brought them inside to wash.
"Here, let me help you!" I went over to Camryn, grabbing a platter of burger toppings to throw in the trash.
"Thanks." She smiled at me, wiping down the table. "Hey, uh, Bailee. I meant to ask you something earlier."
"Okay. What's up?"
"Did Niall, ever tell you, like, exactly what happened? Why he was practically drowning, and was bleeding out the back of his head?"
I thought about it. He really never did. I had just assumed that he was swimming and hit his head on a rock, or tripped and fell.
"Uh, I guess not. Why do you ask?" I wondered if she knew anything about it. What was Niall not telling me?
"I just... I don't know, it just seems odd. When we went down to the beach and found you guys, there wasn't really anything around that Niall could've fell on, or get injured with." Camryn explained.
I didn't really remember anything around that part of the beach. I was mainly focused on Niall. I guess Camryn was right.
"Do you know what happened?"
"No, I thought you might."
After Camryn and I were done cleaning, I went inside, where the boys disappeared from where they were talking to management.
"Where'd everyone go?" I asked Camryn, who was getting a glass of water from the kitchen.
"What time is it?"
"Like 8:30" I replied.
"I'm guessing they probably all went to bed. Long day, too much food. I'm gonna go lay down with Zayn. Goodnight Bailee!" She hugged me. "Hey, I say ask Niall, okay? It might be bad, but it might be good to know too."
Camryn went upstairs, and I entered the kitchen and pured myself a glass of water too. I laid down on the couch, clicking on the TV, not wanting to wake up Niall. Camryn was right. About both things. it had been a long day for him, of course he was going to tired. But I needed to know what exactly happened to him at the beach.

"Princess?"
Niall came down the stairs, his eyes droopy, and his hair all messed up.
I smiled, and got up from my place on the couch.
I walked up to him, and wrapped my arms around his neck, planting a kiss on his lips.
"Okay, I'm up." He smiled at me. I giggled, but then got serious.
"Niall, I need you to tell me something." I grabbed his hand and we both sat down ont he couch.
"Anything, babe."
"What really happened at the beach?"
Authors Note (PLEASE READ!)
Hey guys! I am SOOOO sorry for the long wait for the update. It's been almost a month! But I do have good news. Well, sort of. The good news is that there's going to be way more chapters left then I thought. Probably 5 more instead of 2. But the bad news, is that the sequel to this story is not going to be published for way longer. Maybe in the middle of July or August. I'm in the middle of about 6 fanfictions right now, so I want to focus on those before I even start thinking about a sequel. Thank you guys for being so supportive and sticking with the story even with my horrible update schedule
