I swear today was not my girl day at all , her dad out of the blue after 15 years decided to text her , shes bum rushing off school campus my poor baby girl I hope she textes me soon. As soon as i walked outside the entrance I seen her speeding off and I saw Alonzo standing there watching her.
"Alonzoo??" i said surprised he was here.
"Tamikaa?? , thats you... damnn girl you got fine" he said sizing me up and down. Alonzo was a troublemaker he was one of the roughest toughest drug dealers out there , after his big brother passed away he took over nobody and i mean nobody wanted to be on Alonzo's bad side.
"Yeah yeah nigga , look i saw you looking at my bestfriends car a while ago" i said
"Oh shit thats yo bestie , ayee you gotta hook me up with her" he said looking serious.
"Alonzo , REALLY why would i hook up a good girl who's already been through enough with somebody like your crazy ass I mean what kind of bestfriend would i be"
"A Great one" he said tryna do puppy dog eyes , "look mikaa i promise i wont hurt her or nothing atleast let me try to get to know her , ima hook you up with my nigga chris you know he's my best man and u my future wife bestfriend so we can make shit happen" he said talking shit
"Lol ohh so she yo future wife now huh" i said laughing
"You damn right so we gone do this or not" he said serious
I turned and looked at him as i made my way to the drivers side of my car "Boy i gotchu" i hoped in and closed the door.
"alright cool , holla at yuh lata" he said than walked to his car he was pushing a nice ass cherry Escalade with cherry rims.
I hope im doing the right thing lord just than i got a text from Diamond
'I need you please come to the hospital now'
'Im on my way baby" i replied quick than drove off campus heading straight to my bestfriends side
Diamond's POV~
Once i arrived to the hospital i couldnt believe what i was hearing , my grandmother was fighting cancer. I just couldnt understand why she wouldnt tell us or why my mother didnt tell us. We never really noticed because my grandmother didnt lose any hair. My mom , Taylor , and me was crying. Since we were already in a bad mood i decided to tell my mom about the text i recieved from my father.
"Mom" i said whippinh my tears
"Yess baby" she said softly while rubbing taylor's sleepy head
"I have to tell you something shocking ... uhh... ummm please dont yell or anything" i was getting nervous.
"Baby what can possible make me yell at a time like this" she said staring me in my eyes.
"Im glad u said that because umm.... Dad...... Texted me today" i said looking down
"WHAT !!! THAT MOTHAAFU...." she said loud making Taylor jump and the nurses stare at us
"Ma come on now you said you wasnt gonna yell" i said a little disappointed
"Sorry sorry sorry , im sorry but he texted you i can not believe this shit , For one how did he get your number , for two why did he text you , for three ima kill him omggg" my mom was going off
"Ma idk how he got my number , he said he wanted to talk to me , and dont kill him i dont want you to go to jail at a time like this" i said trying to control my laughter from seeing my moms face shes so pretty when she mad. The doctor walked out and came to us.
"Ummm Diamond" she said
"Yess thats me " i responded
"Your grandmother would like to speak to you in private" she stated
"Umm ok thanks". i said she smiled and walked away.
I was terrified for some reason when i was walking into the room it felt like something bad was going to happen like im losing my grandmother today i tried to fight back my tears as a big lump filled my throat.
"Hi mama" i said
"heee heeyyy baaabyyy" she tried to speak "My time is up suga"
"Mama dont say that , please dont say that" i started shedding tears
"Hey now you stop all that crying baby ima be alright heaven waits for me, i get to be with my father and mother again , and dont forget my big brother Grandpa joe" she said in between coughs
"Mama what ima do without you , i need you more than they do" i said still crying
"Thats why when u girls was at school , i took the time out and called your father , telling him my time was up and its time for him to stop all that foolishness" she said
"You gave him my number , thats why he texted me earlier" i said looking into her eyes "Mama i dont want him to be in my life anymore im 18 Hes been gone for half of it.
"I know baby but im tired my father is calling me , your mother is busy at work its just you and Taylor now".... "It will work out baby , it willl" she said just than my mother and sister walked into the room. "Great everybody here, I love you all , i will always be here for you whenever you need me I wont let none of you down"
"I love you to mom" my mother said crying
"noo noo baby dont ....... cry .... doo.. n. " just than my grandmother fell silent and wasnt moving nor breathing.
"Nooooo GRANDMAAAA NOOO PLEASEE STAY GOD BRING HER BACK !" i screamed out
"Come on baby she's gone" my mom said
"I love you nanaa , byee" Taylor said crying
There was nothing to do but sob and sob somemore my grandmother was gone , I cant believe this why god why her why now. I was thinking heavy about my future because without here it was no way in hell it was gonna be easy. R.I.P. nana i love you
