When I got home I decided to text Zac, just a quick text saying hey. I grabbed my phone and slung myself onto my bed. I was just scrolling through instagram when a picture of Zac appeared; it wasn't only Zac in the picture, Jess a.k.a his new girlfriend was also in it. I sat up quickly studying the picture, I am not sure why but I don't like this girl. I scrolled down to look at the comments:
Zachennings my girl, my world, my everything
Jessrachels345 yours too. X
I mean come on they have spent one day of googley eyes and hugs.

With much hesitation I finally text Zac, our conversation went 'smoothly'. In that way I mean about 590 bumps and crashes along the way; so it was more like a hike up a hill carrying a tone of rocks. This is what I called smooth,
(You) Hey x
(Zac) Hey, you alright? X
(You) I'm fine. How's your 'girlfriend'.
-hang on did I just text that?-
(Zac) shes fine.
(Zac) is there something wrong gabby? X
(You) yeah
(You) *no there isn't. Sorry I have to go. X
(Zac) okay bye. If there is anything bothering you, you can tell me! X

*~*

We didn't talk after that, not for a long time. All I wanted was it to be 'normal' again. Even my 'normal' route to school was 'different', ruby started to leave me for jess.

But maybe different is okay? Maybe I'm over reacting. Or is this never going to end.
