Chloe rose up from bed and began to put on her clothes.
"Today's the new day!," She thought. "I'm finally going to train to be a police officer."
Chloe rushed out of her bedroom, down the stairs and out of the house. She opened the car door and started up the car. Chloe drove off to the police station, at the same time putting makeup on in the car since she was running late. When Chloe arrived, she got out of the car and took off rushing to the nearest door in the police station. She opened the door and immediately rushed to the chief's office. Chloe took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself outside the door and opened the door, walking in with confidence. The chief greeted her and told her to sign several forms. Once Chloe was done filling out the forms, the chief handed her her brand, new uniform.
"For today, you are going to learn how to shoot a gun," the chief said. "When you walk out, just go straight and open the door on the left."Chloe walked out and found her way to the training room. The gun instructor named Kenny showed Chloe how to shoot with a gun and gave it to her. Chloe shot at the target numerous times but missed. This continued for hours until she was finally able to shoot the target on the head. A few minutes after, Leo texted her.
Leo: Hey Chloe! Do you want to go to the cafe and get a latte?
Chloe: Sure! We can celebrate my first day on the job. See you there.Kenny gave Chloe the gun to keep.
"Remember to use this only for emergencies as of right now. There will be times when you have to use it and it will be dangerous," Kenny said.
"I'll keep that in mind," Chloe said.Chloe walked out of the police station to get a latte with Leo, but she didn't know that someone was stealthily following her.
