The Meeting

Keria Diamonds (pov)

When I walked down the road in the middle of the night I feel like someone was following me so I walked a little faster then I see two guys blocking my way home. "Hey baby where do you think you're going hmm?" Thug One asked me. But I didn't reply then suddenly I was up against the street light. I was only a jacket, a flowy dress and some flats and they mean nothing but harm and trouble but I finally work up the courage to speak."Look I don't have any money so please leave me alone." I said. Then I feel a hand on my thigh sliding up slowly. "It's not money we want sugarplum." Thug Two said. I moved away from his hand as if I'm fearful state. "Then what do you want?" I asked in a scared voice. I hope he say doesn't anything about killing me. "We want your body sweetheart" Thug One told me. "How about we have a little fun out here?" Thug Two said with a evil smirk. Oh God these thugs are going to rape me! After that I heard a snap near my ear and I went completely blind. Then the next thing I knew I was on my porch with some guy next to me. Please don't let him be one of those thugs. "Don't worry they won't hurt you anymore." He said as he wiped something off his lips.  "A pretty girl like you shouldn't be walking alone in the dark." He added.
"W-who are you?" I questioned. I was flustered I can't even speak right. He chuckled a little bit and smiled at me. Way a go Keria you done fucked up for sure.
"I'll tell you tomorrow morning." He whispered in my ear and got off the porch fast as a cheetah.
"Damn," I said when I got the house
"How did he get off the porch so fast and what is he?" I questioned to myself.
On Monday morning I was waiting for the bus to come and the next thing I knew the guy from last night appeared next to me.
"Ahh!" I screamed.
"Did I scared you?" He asked with a worried look on his face.
"Yes you did," I said started to ask his name.
"Who are you and how did here so fast?" I asked.
"I'm Duncan Cullen and I don't want to scare you but I'm a vampire." He told me in a calm voice.
"Vampire please does it look like I'm an idiot to you?" I asked with a straight face.
"No, you're more than that. You're strong, beautiful, wonderful, intellectual, and powerful."
"Really? Wow thank you no one ever said anything like that to me and it's Diamonds. Keria Diamonds." I said flattered and without even know I started to blush.
"Nice to meet you Keria Diamonds." Duncan said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you too Duncan Cullen." I said blushing.
And on that day I knew that my life would change forever.
