Rabbitholes

Sorry for not posting for a few days, I've been busy xD

Natalie's POV-

It took us all a while to decide which rabbithole to go to, since in Bridgeport we remember there being a million of them, but eventually we decided on simply going to the movies and then the restaurants to start. We leave the library at like 3:00pm, it seems like time has been going faster than normal, though I guess it is sim time so it is fast any way. We grab a cab and tell the driver that we're going to the theatre. I can't help but wonder if this is really our own free will, or if someone is controlling us to want to go to the movies.

We arrive soon enough, and pile out of the car, chatting idly as we go. "Everything looks so real.." Dylan gasps as she brushes a bit of her red hair out of her face, and trieds to pull down her shirt, unsuccessfully hiding her midriff. Alex nods and I kind of chuckle at Dylan's attempt at modesty."Well let's go see a movie!" I exclaim, and pull them forward toward the ticket booth.

We decide to see Cyborg Goat Herders, which is a sci-fi movie. Once we get our tickets we push open the door to the theatre, in anticipation. After we enter, its black for second, almost like the building is loading, before everything clears up and we see an amazing lobby. The walls are deep red, with gold trim, and there are golden pillars every yard or so on the walls. In between each pillar is a movie poster, with gold trim. The place is sort of themed after an actual movie theatre.

There are two hallways leading out of the lobby, each with a sign over it: Music, Movies. Just beyond the hallways is an average sized concession area. The counter spans the whole wall, and behind it is a plethora of smoothie, icy, popcorn, candy, hotdogs, and other random food machines and fridges, way more variety than there is in the real world. We rush forward, and I check my bank app so I know how much money I have left. 1,262, the ticket was only about 5 simoleons, pretty cheap considering it was the middle of the day, so I decided I would spend at most 20 simoleons on food. We rush forward, and I get a watermelon icy and a medium popcorn, Dylan and Alex got pretty much the same thing and once we get it we run to the theatre that our movie was showing in.

The room where they show the movies is rather large, there being about 15 rows of seats, we sit in the middle of the middle one, and each row had about 25 seats in it. The chairs were red, and the walls pretty much matched that of the lobby. The carpet was a deep brown and there were red and gold wall mounts for lights. As we settled in we chatted excitedly at being in the sims movie theatre.

The movie ends up being long and boring, turns out the sims can make awesome buildings but not so awesome movies, no wonder we have to control them. After we leave the movie theatre, pretty disappointed at how the movie turned out. We quickly attract a cab and in a few minutes we're at the 'fancy' restaurant, surprisingly there wasn't much traffic. The bistro was really weird, it was like integrated into the business building, though it was still beautiful. The floor was grey tile and the walls were light wood with a mid wall trim. The tables were white, with glass tops and matching chairs.

We walked up to the counter, and the waiter quickly seated us, and gave us menus. Dylan and I smiled at each other as we watched the waiter walk away. He wasn't exactly unattractive. Alex rolled his eyes and began looking at the menu. I decided on chicken alfredo, Dylan had a turkey and brie sandwich and Alex had risotto. When the waiter came back we all ordered and smiled at him, Dylan and I grinning when he smiled back.

The waiter had short, soft looking brown hair, and golden brown eyes. He kept smiling at us, though Dylan was convinced it was completely at me. I of course, denied it and completely ignored it, probably missing a whole opportunity. The food was surprisingly pretty good, for being a game, Alex pays and we leave.

As we sit in the cab, Alex is in the front and Dylan and I are sitting in the back. Almost as soon as we sit down, Dylan slapps my arm angrily/playfully. "What?" I asked, playing dumb. "What was that??" She asked, "He was totally flirting with you." "No!" "Yes" "No!" Yes! He was smiling AT YOU!" She almost yelled at me, "NO!" I responded pretty much yelling as well, it wasn't really mad yelling it was like playful yelling. "You're oblivious" She sighed and dropped the topic, much to my appreciation.

The ride is pretty much silent after that as we are on our way to my apartment for some reason. Once we get there, I lead the two up into my apartment and let myself and them in. They smiled and compliment my apartment, nicely and then talk for a while. At about midnight we say good bye and they leave, allowing me to finally be alone.

As I close the door after them, I sigh and finally turn around. For a moment I have to think about what to do, before I decide to go shower, still wondering if this is my decision or if I am being controlled by a simmer. As I shower, I realize there isn't a huge sensor bar, though there is one over my more sensitive areas. 'That's kinda weird' I think, since there is just a random black pixely thing over my body, and I can see it. I always figured that was just something the player saw.

When I got out, like they do in the game, I spin around, almost like it's instinct and I'm in my pajamas, which consists of, a oversized purple sweater, black boyshort underwear, black slippers, and a neat ponytail. Surprisingly it's something that I would wear normally, though usually it would be actual shorts.

I walk calmly to my kitchen and retrieve a bowl of cereal from the fridge, before sitting down on my oddly comfortable couch and watching the news channel. I don't know how long I've been sitting there before I get up, wash the bowl and go to my room so I can sleep. When I turn to close my bedroom door, I notice all the lights have turned off behind me, and I smile This really is the sims.. I think momentarily before walking to be bed and climbing under the covers. I've been in the Sims 5 for a whole day and it's really not all that bad. We'll just have to see how tomorrow turns out.
