My Best Friend

Chapter 1

(Y/N)'s POV

I looked over at my clock and knew I still had 3 more hours till my alarm went off. I just woke up from a nightmare again it was about that night that scarred me.

My parents were putting me to bed and said, "Goodnight (Y/N). We love you!"

"Love you too!" You said back and then they kissed you forehead and closed the door and you closed your eyes but woke up a few hours later. You walked to your parents room and woke them up and saw a dark shadow in the corner. You screamed and when your parents saw the dark your mom picked you up and your dad screamed, "Get out of the house!" Your mom then ran out of the house with you in her arms. Once you got outside you heard your dad scream and then blood splattered one of the windows.

Then all of a sudden the Winchester house shot up in flames and you were scared for Dean because he was your best friend and might still be in the house. Then you saw John, Dean, and Sam run out of the house and you wondered where Mary was, but you realized she was still inside and she was most likely dead.

Once the police showed up they were talking to your mom and they had told her she had to go into the police station and she agreed and told you to stay with John. So she got in the squad car and took off with the police car and then you saw the car speeding up faster and faster and then it hit a pole which split the car in half.You knew from all of the blood that your mom was dead and Dean just ran over to you and hugged you. John then took you, Dean and Sam and drove out of town. You ended up in South Dakota because John had a friend there and he dropped you and the boys off and then left.

You just kept thinking about what happened to your parents and you decided to get up anyways and went and made coffee and watched tv. It was finally 8 o'clock and you were talking to Sam on the phone. "Yeah I am just waiting to hear the results of my boards." He said.

"I know you did well Sam I can just feel it!" You replied.

"Thanks (Y/N)!" He said. You were just telling him about what you were doing in you r life right now. All of a sudden you heard a couple sounds and you yelled, "Is anyone there?"

"What is it (Y/N)?" Sam asked because he was still on the phone. Then you turned around and saw Dean and dropped the phone and ran and hugged him and said, "Oh my god! Dean you're here!" and then you said, "You scared the shit out of me!"

"I'm sorry (Y/N)! I just wanted to surprise you!" Dean said.

"Okay but why are you here?" You asked.

"Well the thing is my dad he disappeared a few weeks ago." He said.

"Oh my god! You want my help finding him don't you?" You asked. He nodded sheepishly and you said, "Alright let's go!"

"Really?" He asked. You nodded and grabbed a bag and pack some clothes and the bag of weapons John gave you and you brought them out to Dean's car and he started playing Livin' on a Prayer by Bon Jovi and went on your way. We ended up at Stanford and I then knew that we were here to get Sam and bring him with us. It was about 10 o'clock and we walked to the back of Sam's apartment building and climbed up and through the open window. Just as you were climbing through the window you said, "I am so gonna get you after we are done here Dean." He just chuckled and helped me through the window.

Once we were both in safe and sound we started looking around and then all of a sudden someone attacked Dean and then Dean finally got him pinned down to the floor and said, "Sammy?"

"It's Sam." The voice said and you realized it was Sam. You then heard, "(Y/N)?"

"Hey." You said sheepishly.

"We need your help Sam. Dad is missing and we need your help finding him." Dean said.

"No. I am not going to help I have a perfect life here and it's normal and that's all I need. Now get out of my house." Sam said firmly.

"Please Sam come with us." You pleaded.

"No I'm not going to and you're just going to have to deal with that." He replied and then said, "Get out before I call the cops." You and Dean both rushed out and went to the car and took off to Tampa, Florida.  Once we get there Dean checks out a motel room and we get in there and I take out my laptop and start doing research about a shapeshifter near by. We go to the police station to ask the sheriff some questions about the case.

The sheriff had said that there were murders that didn't make since so Dean and I checked out the murders and she was right. "Well now we know it is a shapeshifter for sure because there is no possible way these men could commit these murders." You told Dean. He just nodded and we headed back to the motel room getting ready for tonight. You loaded your gun and made sure you had extra ammo and then you Dean went into the sewers searching for the shapeshifters. "It smells like shit down here!" Dean exclaimed and you just nodded not wanting to breathe in the air. Then all of a sudden you were hit from behind and you blacked out.

You woke up in the shapeshifter's lair and it had a whole bunch of stuff down here. "Well it looks like I got you but your little friend got away." A voice said and I knew immediately it was the shapeshifter. "But don't worry I know he will come and find you (Y/N)."

"How do you know my name?" You asked.

"Oh I don't know because maybe your little boyfriend yelled it while I was taking you away." He said. I just looked down and the shapeshifter said, "You know if you can't look me in the eyes you must be scared or pathetic. Probably both." I didn't say anything just stood there tied up listening. "You know it was your fault." This caught my attention and I looked up. "It was your fault they died."

"A demon killed them!" You screamed.

"Yeah okay but did the demon find them because of you?" He asked. "Or did it just want to kill you but it killed them first?"

"Stop! They were killed by a demon." You yelled.

"Okay but I bet they think you killed them and I bet they don't love you. They probably never did you know no one loves you (Y/N)." He said and then he walked up and hit you and said, "You know how about I make you pay for what you did to your parents."

"They did love me." You said quietly.

"No they didn't." He replied before he took a knife and cut down your arm. He then slapped you and stabbed you in the leg. After a few hours of torture you blacked out, once you finally woke up he said, "So you're finally awake." You then closed your eyes prepared to be hit and then you heard a gunshot and thought, 'Am I dead?'

"You aren't dead (Y/N)." A familiar voice said.

"Dean?" You asked.

"It's me." He said and he walked over and untied you, and then picked you up bridal style and took you out of this wretched place. He carried you out of the sewer and put you in the car and drove back to the motel. He helped you get out of the dirty clothes you had on and helped you put on your pajamas and put you to bed. Just as you were falling asleep you said, "Stay with me?" He nodded and got under the covers and wrapped an arm gently around your waist and you both fell asleep.
