Los Diablos are my seventeen assassins with powers that can challenge God were inspired by the Akatsuki.
The Akatsuki was my great inspiration because I want to create my own characters based on the Akatsuki. So I began choosing to make five or ten members but I came up with the idea to make it a seventeen members of this organization of mine.
There would be nine males and eight females of this organization but the difficult part was the names of these seventeen members. I just went to internet and hand picked a couple of names from handsome name to names meaning death.
Their powers were very simple because I already know what should be their powers and weapons.
For example, three characters would have abilities and powers from the Naruto world.
Huang Shun would possess the Rinnegan even though he's not from the Naruto world. The reason why he have the Rinnegan is that the original users of the Rinnegan are long gone and those eyes need a new user. So I chose Huang to have the powers of God.
Kiyoko Saito doesn't have any Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, only Taijutsu. She one of the few original character in the world who only use Taijutsu like Rock Lee. But similar to Kakuzu because she is very greed when money is being involved.
Two characters from Naruto inspire me to create Mari Hayashi. Those characters were Zetsu and Sasori. But in a twist, it would be a female version of Zetsu with the same Puppet Technique of Sasori. Mari Hayashi will have a similar appearance like Zetsu and similar to Sasori's puppeteering.
A very young friend of mine in school, who read my first novel, questioned about why are my assassins are focusing on Jack and Elsa?
Back then, I had three reason why my assassins are focusing on Elsa and Jack.
1. Pitch, a villain from Rise of the Guardians, mind controlled these seventeen assassins and ordered them to kill Elsa and Jack. But the couple would defeat all seventeen and all of them would be loyal to Elsa and Jack.
2. All seventeen were once bodyguards and caretakers to the Royal Arendelle family. All of them very loyal to the royal because the King and Queen of Arendelle took them all in and rise them like their own children. When their king and Queen passed away, they made a promise that they would take care of Elsa and Anna for the rest of their lives. When Jack came to the picture, these killers would kill Jack Frost if he dares speaks or touch Queen Elsa.
3. Elsa and Jack would find one of the seventeen members extremely injured in the forest. Elsa and her friends would take of him/her until they recover. After they recover, they'll thank them and that person would invite the others to meet Elsa, and Jack.
My personal reason? Elsa and Jack Frost should have bodyguards to protect them from those who want to harm them.
All in all, Los Diablos were created to kill their enemies and protect Elsa and Jack.
