"SCRAAA" A Licous yelled. (A evil mermaid) A group of Licous have been tracking a group of mermaids for years. They had gotten a wift of a group mermaid's scent and starting heading their direction.
"Come on already let's get going" A voice yelled through my rock walls. "Comin" I yelled back. I grabbed my snatchel and swam out the door. "Lets go" The strange girl told me. (I had been asked to follow a guide to uncharted land. After a few hours of swimming the girl spoke. "Do you smell that?" "Aie, what is that?" I replied "Licous" I gasped, "What are they doing here." I thought i'm my head "I know this place, this is where I played hide and seek, their tracking mine and my friends scent!" A Licous came into sight and the girl almost broke my shoulder pushing me down behind a rock. She pulled out a crossbow and shot a bolt lightning speed cutting through the water. It struck the creature and dropped it to the floor. I looked at her in awe, "I know i'm awsome kid." she said back. We swam over to it and I picked it up. We started our trip back to our home.
