Waking up on my sixteenth birthday and discovering I have these abilities I have never seen anyone have before, is mind boggling. I mean I'm just another normal(ish) teenage girl trying to survive high school. I don't need more to worry about, but when I heard what my mom was saying, when she wasn't talking, really freaked me out. But I go with it and it has been part of my life now for a year and it will never slow me down, it actually might help me out.
And it did help me out, until Jason came along. Its like everything has changed and I know I am supposed to hate him, but he is different, and I intend on finding out why. Why I cannot see his aura or read his thoughts. I am determined to figure i out. I, Erin Smoles, will figure it out, and when I do.. well, that will be what i must find out.
