This can't be good. Oh please tell me he's not dead. We rush home, fighting the urge to stop and catch our breath. We have to know what's happening in there. I know my dad he's a very skilled man, hell I've seen him catch a bullet, but with him slacking with the business I just don't what's going to happen. Please don't be dead. PLEASE. DON'T. BE. DEAD.
We get to the house but there something different. Instead of just our cracked old marble drive way, in it we're dozens, several cops.
"I think we should probably take the secret entrance," I say.
"Agreed," they both say in unison.
We quietly walk away from the coral of officers. As we keep backing up I search for the keypad inside that bushes that could be our escape route. I fondle my fingers inside the bushed in till I find the cold metal box stuck in between. I push the buttons to unlock the secret entrance. The ground starts to rise up to reveal the inside of my brother's room.
"Ugh I can smell the dirty socks from up here," I gag as I hold my breath.
"Nea-Nea," he teases back sticking his tongue out at me.
We walk threw the tunnel of brick and mildew which I never understood speaking that it's a tunnel...underground. We walk into Jack's and press a button to close the tunnel.
"Okay. Divide and conquer. Jack , Matt, you two look for Mom, I'll go find Dad," I whisper.
We walk threw the door, grabbing the gun that Jack keeps in his dresser. He hands it to me since I'm the only one who can actually handle a gun. I look at the gun getting ready to use when I notice the is gold instead of sliver.
"Um..Jack, where did u get this gun?" I ask.
"Oh Matt gave it too me," he answers with a big smile on his face.
I look at Matt and see the other gold gun that belonged to Miguel come out of his pocket.
"JACK HIT THE DECK!" I yell grabbing him and sitting him behind a while as Matthew Castelo has started firing.
