The last two days seemed to just fly by for them. Wynter walked at her brother's side on their way home. It was the second day they were together at the dance studio, hanging out with their sister and mother. Now Loki had to do the final packing, and they would be loading his stuff up into his boyfriend's truck. Looking up at the sky, Wynter wanted it to rain. It was too warm out.

Loki spoke to her on the way home, telling her about his boyfriend, Ryan Waters. He was tall, and he played the drums well. With that fact, her brother said something about the other boy knowing to keep a beat, and he laughed shortly after. Of course, Wynter didn't understand what that meant, so she simply shrugged and continued on. Getting more in detail, she learned about how Loki and Ryan met, as well as what job Ryan had. As her brother told her these things, she frowned.

She would miss him. He had stood with her throughout their entire childhood, and they relied on each other. Loki, as well as their sister, Charlie, was her connection to humanity. The only real friends she actually had were them. Wynter was a listening ear and source of logic. She reminded Loki of all the rational things, and talked him through anything he held confusion on. Just as he would do with her.

Would her roommate be like this? By golly, she hoped. Then again, it wasn't like she knew how to open up to new people the way she did with Loki. It would take a while for her to even talk to her roommate or perhaps, even look them in the eyes. She didn't know if she'd be able to trust them with a lot of things until they really get to know one another.

Before she knew it, today was the day Loki was leaving. Part of her didn't want to get out of bed, and she just wanted to lay there, staring at the ceiling like usual. The nightmare of the faceless figure haunted her once again, and the looming thought of her brother leaving struck her heart with grief. But she did rise from bed, she walked out into the early dawn light that filled the apartment from the endless amount of windows her brother got installed.

She'd never woken up this early before. Or rather, she'd never left her room this early before. Loki always came to get her at nine in the morning. It was around six right now, and she sighed. Loki wasn't awake. Then she slowly smiled, and her form glided to the kitchen gracefully. When she arrived in there, she got out the makings for a great breakfast. Pancakes with m&ms added in them, and eggs with ham and cheese in them. Some bacon with slight seasoning. Wynter knew how to cook, but it normally came down to the fact that she just didn't want to. Yet, she did today, because today was different from normal.

In her waitimg, she even got out fixings to bake. When Loki did wake up, Wynter just placed chocolate pie crust in the oven to harden. Smiling as he came into the kitchen, the Grimm children got the mint and vanilla ice cream together. It was homemade and had a nice swirl. Once they had that, Wynter placed together a dark chocolate syrup that had a hint of caramel to it as well. Placing the ice cream as a part of the pie crust, she let both the pie and the syrup cool before she poured anything anywhere.

Now they had a minty caramel, chocolate chip vanilla ice cream cake for the new roommate. Working together with his sister, Loki got more bakery creations together, making the kitchen completely spotless as they went along. Everything looked incredible. And as Loki pointed out, it tasted incredible, too.

The rest of the day was spent loading up Loki's stuff into Ryan's car, and the two prepared Loki's old room. Loki had painted about a week before now, so they emptied the room to be just the dark red walls. The bed frame Loki got for her was a dark cherry wood frame, and it suited the dark red nicely. Wynter placed down black, satin sheets. In between the sheets and the comforter was a thicker dark red blanket, and the comforter was a Harley Quinn design with black and red.

Loki and Wynter got into a pillow fight with how many black and red pillows went on the bed. There were only two white pillows that matched the comforter. One was red designed, and the other was black. Once they finished setting up the bed, Ryan showed up to help the two siblings bring in the cherry wood night table and desk, setting it up within the room. After that, Wynter took a break to prepare lunch and let Loki set up the clothes that the new roommate had to send prior to showing up.

When Wynter walked in with two bowls of mac and cheese, she was met with the sight of so many posters and pictures along the walls, mirroring her new roommate's interests and personal photography. The room looked amazing, and they even set up black and red designed curtains on the windows of the room. Loki even changed the cushions in his nook by one of the windows to be black and red instead of his own green and white. The change was drastic, but it most certainly wasn't a bad thing.

Loki only had one thing to say as he grabbed his lunch, "She is going to love it here, Honey. Don't you worry 'bout a thing."
