Fairy Tail

"So are we just gonna let those new-comers stay at the guild for as long as they need and act like they didn't just come from another world?" Carla says as she and Wendy join Natsu, Erza, and Lucy.

"I mean, I don't mind," Lucy shrugs.

Natsu is set ablaze by this. "They're basically intruders!"

"I agree with Natsu!" Carla chides in.

Wendy ignores them, "I don't mind either. They're not exactly trying to destroy the guild."

Erza is quieter than usual. She stares at the table, listening to her friend's opinions. Just before their group gets deeper into the conversation Grey appears. "Gramps wants to see us... along with those reaping freaks."

"You know, they're not all Soul Reapers," Lucy says.

Natsu raises his eyebrows at her.

"What!?" she demands.

Erza stands, "We must see Master."

They all get up and head over to Master's office. It was only then, that Lucy noticed a certain blue cat was missing.

Master was staring out the window when they came in. Ichigo's group was there as well and Natsu and Grey didn't seem too happy about it. Ezra was about to say something when Mackerov spoke.

"There has been a disturbance in the city," he deadpans. "Monsters unknown to wizards have shown up and are attacking Magnolia. I believe these sudden outbursts are due to your arrival. Now, I've contacted the Magic Counsel and-"

"What do you mean it's because of our arrival? That's preposterous, how can you blame monster attacks on us?" Uryu intrudes angrily but Orihime stops him from going on.

"Master, what were you saying?" Erza frustrates.

"The Counsel has requested that I send three newcomers and three wizards to defeat these creatures. They would like to see your skills," he directs at Ichigo's group.

"Just three?" Renji asks reluctantly.

At this, the Fairy Tail wizards smirk. Lucy giggles a little as the sudden aura of the room turns blood thirsty. "Are you doubting us?" Natsu asks with sharp teeth.

And before they could get into yet another brawl Master asks who is going.

"I'm going!" Lucy yells before anyone else and Natsu doesn't miss Ichigo's eyes widening.

"I'm going and nobody can stop me!!" Natsu yells and almost lights the rug on fire.

Lucy and Natsu knock arms--their signature hand shake. Ichigo steps up, "I'll go as well"

"Same here," Chad pipes up.

Before Grey or Erza can say anything, Wendy raises her hand,"I wanna go!" She smiles at Chad and Ichigo.

Ichigo's group looks amongst themselves. Uryu is about to call in when Rukia yelps, "I'm not gonna miss this!"

The six step forward and look each other up and down with smiles and smirks on their faces.

"You six, come here," Master hasn't turned around this whole time. He keeps his eyes fixed on something outside.

The six step up and only then do their expressions go troubled. As they come closer to Mackerov and the window, they see what he is staring at.  The Monsters. There where dozens of them. The Wizards had never seen anything like them. They where black shadows that seemed to have white masks on.

"Hollows..." Rukia whispers.

Only then does Mackerov shift his gaze. "You know these creatures?"

Rukia hesitates. "Yes. Soul Reapers hunt them."

"Are they dangerous?" Wendy asks.

"Some of them," Rukia looks closer at the creatures she named Hollows, "by the look of it, they aren't to bad. We can take them, just be careful about their group attacks."

"Get going, you have a lot of work to do," Master shoos them out.

The three wizards start for the exit but Rukia's team stops. "Are you guys coming?" Natsu asks.

"Shouldn't we have a plan?" Rukia suggests.

"We do. Run in there and kill anything that attacks us," Natsu says as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. Which, actually, it is.

Ichigo furrows his brows at this but Natsu's already on his way along with Lucy. Wendy waits kindly for the three.

"They're always like this. Sometimes I think it's apart of being a Fairy Tail wizard," Wendy says with Carla standing next to her.

Ichigo and Rukia smile at her cuteness. They catch up with the rest of the group.

"Okay," Lucy starts, "lets split up. If anyone is in trouble send some sort of sign towards the sky."

They all nod and Happy takes that moment to arrive silently behind Natsu. "Where have you been, cat?" Happy shrugs.

"Let's go!" Ichigo says. Happy and Carla latch onto their dragon-slayers and take off while Ichigo, Rukia, and Chad stare at them in astonishment. 

"They can fly...?" Ichigo marvels. But Lucy is already on her way out.

As soon as she gets into town, Hollows appear. Lucy reaches for her keys and calls Ares for help. Together they fight.

Somewhere else in town, Natsu is fire breathing his enemies without even breaking a sweat. That is, until he bumps into Ichigo who is running very quickly. "Carrot! What the hell are you doing here?" Natsu yells. 

Ichigo stops running and turns swiftly on his heels, he slashes his sword thingy before Natsu can make out whatever is around the corner. A dead Hollow now. Before Natsu can start a fight with Ichigo, he is caught up with another Hollow. And then Ichigo and him where fighting back to back.

Wendy was fighting hard too, at one point she was cornered but Chad just happens to show up and rescue her. Now, they fight side by side.

It seems Fairy Tail Wizards and Soul Reapers can get along after all.
