I woke to the sound of my owl, Chrysanthemum, tapping at my dorm window, I look to make sure she didn't wake my roommates, Lavender or Hermione, she luckily didn't. Looking over at my muggle clock to check the time, it reads 5:42 am, 'why the bloody hell is my owl delivering mail at this time' I whispered out loud. l look at my clock again, admiring it. I remember earlier this year, Hermione gave me this clock for my birthday. It wasn't too fancy, just a basic black digital clock, but being a pure-blood who grew up in the wizard world all my life, it was fascinating to me. I sigh and get out of bed, slowly making my way towards the window, opening it slightly so the bird can slip thorough. I feel the warm breeze from outside and let it wake me up a little. I've always loved the way spring feels. the warm, soft grass on my bare feet, as warm breezes and smells engulfs me. I close the window and take the parchment from Chrysanthemum, giving her a mouse then putting her back in her cage. I read the letter and sleepily smile, its a good morning note from my boyfriend, Seamus Finnigan. he tells me good morning and asks if I can to get to breakfast early. I sigh, realizing this means I can't crawl back into bed. moving towards my trunk to get my uniform and setting the note down on my dresser, I walk into the shower. happy that I can at least take my time this morning, staying until the water turns cold.
