This dress is weird,its like a medieval dress,im used to vintage as thats all my parents buy me but this is another level!

I smiled to myself thinking about how me and kale first properly met on his horse,why does he have to such a flirt?
Suddenly there was a snap!

How the hell did i hear that,it was so faint as a pounding got louder in my head,i drew my dagger out the bag and tucked it up my sleeve,

the pounding sounded like a heartbeat and it was speeding up.

"Whos there?"my hood remained up to keep my identity hidden,if they think im just a person riding in the woods maybe they will leave.

I heard their cracked and rushed breathing,their panicking,a little boy with blonde hair popped from around a tree,his cheeks were wet from tears,

"Oh hello,what are you doing in the woods on your own?"i hopped down from my horse and crouched signalling for him to come over.

He stood next to me,you could see the pain from his eyes as more tears streamed down his face
"hey its okay,whats happened maybe i can help?"he smiled with hope as i wiped away his tears.

"Theres nasty men looking for me,i miss my mummy and daddy,they got them"suddenly there was a shout in the distance.

I ordered my horse to lie down as i climbed the tree with the little boy

"were going to stay up here for a bit and ill grab one of the men okay?"he nodded and bit his thumb,four men walked past the tree i was in

"where is that boy,he cant of gone far!"the brunette one said punching a tree,i held my finger to my mouth and climbed down lifting my hood up,

"hello gentlemen,what brings you to the woods"i pretended to adjust my chest,making their eyes pop from their sockets.

"Hello were looking for a little boy,blonde about this height"he held his hand to his waist

A blonde man smiled and walked towards me

"who are you?"he asked,just as he did the wind blew my hood down,"the princess!"they all gasped but soon all smirked at me

just as he was about to grab me i moved sending him in to the tree as the other brunette ran at me,

i turned and grabbed a handful of dust and rocks from the ground spraying it into his face.

I turned to see the blonde man running away jumping over rocks and hurdling over tree stumps,i whistled for Layla.

In a matter of seconds she arrived and perched on my arm"bring him to me please"she rubbed her head to mine and flew after her him letting out a shriek.

After i had checked to see if the men were alive i heard a person clear their throat,it scared me so i got in defensive position with my dagger in front of me"oh its you!"i put my dagger back in my boot and tied him up as layla landed next to me"thankyou baby"she purred and stayed next to me.

"having scars makes me who i am,it makes me strong,thanks for this though,not sure if id want one on my face"he laughed a i got a apple out of my bag"this will keep your appetite till you get the knife"it wont be hard to get he will just have to think what to do,i stabbed a small blade into the ground just out of reach"now where are his parents"he looked at me with sympathy then looked away

"at the west wing of the chamberlin quarters,you see his mother is the kngs and queens child,but they have our leaders wife,so what a perfect ransom to use them and their child"he smirked at the boy,i scowled

"I guess ill be on my way then,good look theif!" I climbed onyo the horse and pulled the little boy so he sat on my lap,he leant against me to fall asleep..reminding me of the time i fell asleep on kale.
