I agree, "Sorry, we're gonna have to wait to go to Alasia's."
I tell Joel with a sheepish smile. It's obvious he would be irritated with anymore delays to a night of partying and liquor.
"If you don't act like you got some sense, I swear—"
"Joel, you know you came up for a good time! The more the merrier! Lets go get these drinks then we will be on our way!" I interrupt him.
Joel lets out a deep sigh and whispers, "Fine, but on the way -- you're telling me everything you know about these guys."
I smile having gotten my way and start walking with Manny toward his boys house. As we get to the place, I'm talking to Joel and looking at Manny. Personality wise, he was nice, to me. That was despite the fact that in general he is rude, closed off. Manny, standing still was 5'9 with a lean build. He had a tiny beer belly. He had dark hair and his soft features resemble something of a babies face. His eyes are light, a beautiful blue but they hold something deep and completely captivating.
I told Joel that when Manny looks at me his eyes just peer right through me. I can't ever forget his lips either, so full and soft, when he kisses me. Joel laughs, when I talk about him and still isn't convinced. But, I'm into him. I just wanted to be in love with him and the idea of it back then brought butterflies in my stomach and I couldn't help but laugh, too.
When we got to the apartment, Manny texts his boy to let him know we arrived. Vinny buzzed us in upstairs.
"Hows my favorite girl doing? You good?" he asks as he pulls me in for a kiss. We walk upstairs together, I can only imagine how Joel feels right now but I smile, "I'm good." I say.
"Better now, right?" he asks with a sultry smile that makes me blush.
Vinny opens the door then, Manny introduces us. We walk into the apartment and I come to a complete stop. Right before me is this man, half naked wrapped in a towel. He must be 6'1 or 6'2 his physique is that of a movie, it's so lovely, so well built and sculpted you can clearly see all the hard lines of his body. His olive skin glistened with beads of water from his shower and his curly short hair dripped bringing my eyes to his chiseled jawline, his big full lips that were curved up in a smirk.
Then I finally looked at his eyes, honey brown, smoldering and mysterious.
As they searched me. He was definitely attractive; he was the type of man that I would only see on TV. Yet here he was, half naked with nothing but a towel hanging dangerously low on his hips.As I was checking him out, I can tell he was checking me out too, I felt his eyes all over me.
I know I'm no model, but I am attractive. I have big round, brown eyes, full lips, long dark hair, a small frame with soft curves, and high cheekbones. I guess it was awkward enough. I, surprised to hear his voice, its sound so dark, so husky and low yet welcoming. He said "hello," and quickly dashed to his room at the realization. I looked down, blushing. "Hey." I said.
