Mama died when Marlen was born. He never did really know mama. He knew that she sang. She sang day and night. Papa and I sang to. Mama sang lullabies to Marlen at night. "Oh sweet baby, oh sweet baby go to sleep". Papa listened as mama sang so soft and sweet. Sometimes, when mama sang to Marlen, I would fall asleep beside her. And in the day, she would sing why'll she cleaned or gardened vegetables. Why'll papa plowed the fields and weeded, he sang to. "Family is sweet, sour and caring". Papa told us to remember that. Family can sometimes be sweet as an apple or sour as candies. Or family can be as careful as the Lord God. But when mama died, there was know more singing. There was know more happiness. Me and Marlen started to feed the animals. Old Bess and Jack where aggressive when mama died. I guess they noticed the change to. All of the animals acted more diffrent .
