Me and Roman laid in my king size bed playing with Kayla her fat cheeks were red as a beat. Arianna was gone out somewhere Dean came and surprised her. She probably won't be coming home tonight. I rolled over to Roman who was kissing Kayla's forehead .
"Roman" I spoke
"Yes baby" He Replied
"Do you honestly think Amber will try to take Dylan away from you cause Ive got the best lawyer" I said facing him
"Who might that be"He said
"My father James" I said with a smile
"Yep that's right your father is a lawyer I've heard about his work & he does a damn good job" He said
"Yeah Roman can I ask you something "I said looking at him with glossy eyes
"Yes" He said looking up at me
"Promise you won't leave me or Kayla" I said with a tear falling down my face
He sat up and Wiped the tear away and kissed me softly.
"I'm hear to stay" He said quietly and content
"I love you Joseph" I said grabbing his face and kissing him
"I love you too" He said turning over and going to sleep
I got up and put Kayla in her crib and fell asleep right under Roman's arm. I finally got my superman back 🤘🏽.
The next day.
We decided to take the kids out to the park even though it was the end of November we had to dress warm obviously I put on some Leggins and a big college sweater with a brown scarf and Black combat boots. The park was only two blocks away from my house so we just walked I picked a few sandwiches and some apple juice for the kids and some hot chocolate for me and Joe.
"This was a great idea you know" He Said looking at me
"Yeah I know it's cold as hell I hate the fall/ winter." I said while cuddling in his arm
"You'll survive" He Said chuckling
While walking to the park we finally arrived and I noticed a familiar face it was my brother Leon. I guess mom lied when she said that he had checked into rehab. I stopped in my tracks and stood in a state of shock he look like death itself.
"Baby what wrong" Roman said
"I.... It's my oldest brother Leon" I said pointing across the street
"Wow really"he asked shockingly
"Yeah go take the kids to the park i'll be right back" I said getting ready to cross the street
"Are you sure you gonna be okay" He asked
"Yeah" I said nodding my head
"Okay" He said strolling the kids up the walk way
I walked across the street as I saw the one guy I looked up to as a little girl. pale , lifeless , and dirty. It took everything in me not to cry. I finally got to him and the smell that hit my nose was unbearable.
"L-Leon" I spoke
He turned around and his eyes were barely open and had a needle in his hand. Tears just hit my face I couldn't control myself.
"I-it's your baby s-sister Amirah" I said while my hand shook reaching to touch him
"Bitch don't touch me I don't know you " He said backing away
"Leon it's me bunny" I said while crying
He always called me that. I was a chubby kid
"Bunny my sister bunny" He said looking up at me confused
"Yes yes yes it's me" I said shaking my head
He instantly hugged me and the smell of pee and poop hit my nose I didn't care I'm just glad my brother remembered me. He took his hood off and opened his eyes all the way. He looked so bad
"I'm so sorry bunny" He said as a tear hit his cheek
"I feel like I've failed you Leon I should've been there for you , you always took care of me growing up" I said crying harder
"You don't own me anything bunny I chose this lifestyle I failed you if anything else , what have you been up to" He said while wiping my tears
"Well I have a daughter now and my wrestling career on hold" I said with a slight smile
"A daughter?" He asked shockingly
"Yes 7 months her name is Kayla" I said with a smile
" I know mommy went crazy , speaking of her how's she doing" He asked while leaning on the pole
"She's doing well" I said
"So who's the Lucky guy" He asked shoving my shoulder
"The wrestler Roman Reigns" I said
"Oh shit you just doing the damn thing " He said laughing
"Yeah bro you already know" I said
"Well I gotta go I love you" He said hugging me
"Wait here's my number call me if you need a place to stay and here's 100$ please don't spend it on drugs please I wanna see you live I love you Leon be safe go buy yourself some breakfast and new clothes" I said giving him the things
"I promise bunny I love you" He said then walking away.
I really the hope the next time i see him is not in a casket. Only God knows and all I can do is pray. I walked to the park where my family was and they were building piles of leaves and I just ran right into them.
"Mommy what are you doing" Dylan screamed laughing
That mommy word didn't bothered me none in fact that's what I wanted but I know I'm not her mother but since the lady that gave birth won't do her job I might as well step up and I'm gonna love her and Kayla equally
"How did everything go" Roman asked
"Emotional but I'm okay now I have him my number and some money" I said
"That's great" He said kissing my forehead
"I love you Joe" I said looking up at him
"I love you too sweetheart" He said looking at me with a smile.
