Forgive me

Chapter 2

Zero's P.O.V

[Next day]

I stroked Kaname's soft brown hair as he slept peacefully beside me. We had a few rounds last night so I explain why he is tired. Kaname shifted a bit and then buried his face into my chest gently. I then looked at my alarm clock and slowly got up and crawled over Kaname and to my wardrobe. I pulled out some clean boxers, shorts and a singlet and put them on. I then pulled out some clothes for Kaname and put them on the edge of the bed for him. I combed my fingers through my hair to make it look like I didn't have sex all night with a pureblood and then walked out of the room and to Crosses office were I knew Cross was waiting to give me a mission to do from the hunter association.

Kaname's P.O.V

I began to stir in the bed as I felt the light burn my closed eye's. I rubbed the sleep out of my eye's and sat up in the bed. I turned my head to the side to see Zero wasn't next to me and knew he had already left much to my disappointment. I then looked on the edge of the bed to see clothes left out for me, I tilted my head to the side and then crawled over to them slowly and put them on. I then stood up and looked at the alarm clock to see I was a few minutes late on meeting Cross at his office. I then rushed out of the room and headed for Crosses office as quickly as I could.

As I arrived at Crosses office Zero stood in the corner of the room with a pissed expression. "Oh hello Cross and Zero." I greeted and then walked over to the two. "He doesn't have to come." Zero stated in a hissed voice making my heart ache a little. "He needs to come Zero. Kaname, Zero is to kill four level E's and you need to be there to help him if things become too much." Cross stated making me nod firmly. "Okay." I stated simply making Cross smile, Zero walked past me and then left Crosses office, I soon followed Zero. When I exited Crosses office I closed the door and looked at the fuming Zero who was leaning on the wall, opposite to the door. "I know you hate me but I still have to come with you on this mission." I stated disappointedly. Zero sighed and then pinched the bridge of his nose. "Look Kaname, I don't hate you. It's just......it's a dangerous mission and if you happen to be pregnant then I wouldn't want anything happening to the two of you." Zero stated and looked up at me. "Come back to my room, we don't leave for the mission until another hour." Zero stated making me both happy and relaxed.

Me and Zero sat on his bed awkwardly, Zero kept glancing back at me and I returned them. Zero then stood up and walked over to his bookshelf and pulled a book out of the selections of books and handed it to me. "This might keep you interested." Zero stated making me shake my head as a no. "Nah I don't feel like reading." I stated and threw the book near the pillows. I then felt my throat go uncomfortably dry making making me cough a bit. "Are you okay?" Zero asked making me nod and turn away from him and look out the window. "You want blood don't you?" Zero asked making me nod my head, I heard a sigh from Zero before I was forced to look at him. "Drink from me." Zero stated making my eye's widen. "A-Are you sure? I mean the things that happened a few years ago-" "Don't matter now. I have a responsibility to look after you now so if your thirsty then I have to feed you." Zero stated making my eye's widen to the point I couldn't widen them anymore.

Zero tilted his head to the side making my lips go dry. I then bit into his neck from temptation and soon his blood entered my mouth. I took a phew gulps of his blood before pulling away from his neck and licking his wound closed as a sign of apology. I then felt zero put his hands under my armpits and lift me up like a baby. My legs wrapped around his waist as he kept his hands under my armpits. He then bounced me making me smile. "Who looks like the cute little baby now?" Zero asked as he brushed his nose against my nose. He then wipe the blood away from my mouth and chin and smiled at me which was rare. There was a knock at the door making me turn to it as the door opened. Cross walked into the room with a smile on his face making me and Zero look at each other then back at Cross.

"I heard your conversation outside my door. When did you two start dating?" Cross asked as Zero put me down back onto the bed gently. "Were not dating." Zero stated firmly making the same aching feeling in my heart. "But you said Kaname may be pregnant and you wouldn't want anything happening to the two of them." Cross stated as he furrowed his eyebrows. "That's simply just a father looking after the unborn child and person who is carrying it." Zero stated blankly making me look down at my feet. "Well I am afraid the pregnancy will have to stop here." Cross stated making me snap my head towards him. "What!" Zero said angrily as he stood in front of me. "I'm sorry but you can't have a baby with someone you don't love." Cross stated and walked over to me and firmly grabbed me and pulled me upwards. "Let go of him Cross." "I'm afraid I cannot Zero." Cross stated making Zero fume.

"Can you just stay out of my life. You can't control me and what I do to whoever. If I want to help someone I will. If I want to get someone I don't love pregnant I will who fucking cares." Zero angrily yelled at Cross making Cross fold his arms over his chest. "But do you know the consequences about getting a pureblood pregnant? Do you know that they can get desperate for love? Do you even know how to look after a pregnant person or a baby?" Cross asked making Zero shut up.

"The consequences about getting a pureblood pregnant are simple. Pureblood's can become extremely horny during their pregnancy, they'll crave blood as there pregnancy continues, They'll become desperate for love during their pregnancy if their mate doesn't love them, they have a 50% chance of loosing the baby during the first few months of the pregnancy and there is a 99.9% chance that Kaname will die giving birth to the baby. Female pureblood's can have babies like normal humans do but because men can also fall pregnant their pregnancy's are inhumanly so there is a HIGH risk of dying. What's the point of having a baby to someone who doesn't even love them?" Cross asked and the stunned Zero. Zero was clearly too shocked for words and couldn't even speak as he watched me leave his room silently.
