He will start to talk to you more often,
You will be happy about this because you like the way he laughs.
He will tell you that you are beautiful, while slowly undressing you with his eyes.
You will take this as a compliment, smile, and say thank you.
Even though something, something in your heavy heart tells you not to.
He will touch you, differently than anyone has ever touched you before.
He'll ask over and over, "Is this okay?"
Your quick gasp will let out a yes.
You want more of this poison.
You want his breath in your lungs like smoke: It might not be good for you,
but god, you keep wanting more.
He will say the words, "I love you"
And you,
You will believe him, just how little kids believe in the tooth fairy,
or Santa.
You'll give him all of you, your everything.
Every part of you, is his.
He'll comment things aren't working out.
Your heart will ache, for weeks, for months.
He says, "I don't love you like I used to."
You'll think, "What's not to love? I gave you everything."
You notice he started talking to other girls more often.
It makes them happy, because they like the way he laughs.
