A week had passed and I learned that i actually put Jacob in a coma. Opss, well, he was a jerk anyway. Currently, Audrey and I had been hanging out, but for the most part, I was staying away from most anyone and became kind of anti-social. I mean what do you expect when you get sexually harassed by your crush (well, technically ex crush, but who cares anyway).
I've been avoiding the movies like the plauge, and my marks weren't doing well either. I was too delirious from my own thoughs,to be able to focus on any homework or assignments from school.
My parents started to get worried because I never talk to them anymore. They keep asking me if im all right or if something was up, my response is always "Im fine" or "dont worry about me". I wish it was just as easy as saying "help", for them to understand that I need my distance and alone time.
Today, as I was heading home with music blasting in my ears, Audrey rushed over to me, pulling out one of my ear buds.
"Hey you, why dont you walk home with me anymore? We've walked home together since kindergarten" She gave me a concerned look, acting like im not myself, which was true and I have been rushing out of school at the end of the day to be able to get home as soon as possible. Usually, I would have waited for Audrey, but recently I hadn't been doing that at all.
"Please, like leave me alone. I don't want to talk to anyone right now." I asked trying to put my other headphone in to continue ignoring others, but Audrey halls my hand away from it and says, "Just talk to me about it, Im here for you and you can't ignore me forever. Your my best friend." Her concrete look went to, at the break of tears.
I sigh and reply, " Fine, but not right now, later, ok?"
"Ok." She says with a small smile on her face.
