-Okayy. This is my first actual story. I'm used to writing more poetry type things. So just bare with me! Vote and comment. Thanks(:

'Tori, wake up! It's time for school!"

'Okay, Okay." I say, my voice kinda cracky from me not speaking for a while.

The alarm clock is going off in my ear and my mom is yelling like a maniac and it is only six o'clock in the freaking morning. As I got out the bed I reached to turn off my clock. I went to the closet and got out the uterly disgusting Maroon and Khaki uniform I would now be forced to wear, since I am now a Freshman. I turned on my Xbox and blared the music as loud as I could.

When I got dressed I went to the bathroom and did my usual routine; Brush my teeth, fix my hair, and do my makeup. When I finished I looked in the mirror, thinking of how this day would be. The music from my Xbox still playing loud.

"The tears we've cried.

The love has died.

You're all alone with me tonight.

It's what we hide with every lie.

And stitch these wounds with me tonight."

Then I hear my mom yelling at me breaking me out of my trans.

"Tori! Come one! It's your first day! You can't be late!"

I reluctantly walk out of the bathroom and into my room. I sit on my bed and slip on my Vans, grab my binder and walk out the door.

The car ride to school was silent. The whole time I was thinking of how dreadful this day would be. I am not the coolest kid ever. I am more of a loner. I have very few friends and I don't really socialize much. I have four people that I lean on. Alex, Megan, Kelcie, and Brooke. I don't really get along with other people. Maybe, it is just me but people arent that intelligant. I don't know what it is.

But before I know it, my mom is pulling in the school drive way. I grab my binder and walk into the building. Central isn't that big of a place. It is 97% black people who think they are 'hard', 2% is white people trying to act black or be a jock and or prep. And then you have that 1%, which is the people who are just trying to get the hell out of this small town. That is where I fit in.

As I walk in the doors what do I see? A bunch of black people hanging on the lockers. Greatt. I just need to find Kelcie and Megan. I walk in the atrium and look for a second and I quicly find them. I walk over and put my hands over their eyes. I chuckled as I watched them jump around trying to see who it was who was covering their eyes. When they finally saw it was me they hugged me and told me how nervous they were.

'Omg! Tori! Do you realize we are in High School now!?'

"Yes, Megan. I do. But I really don't see where it is any different than any other school."

'You don't see where it is any different!? We are in High.."

Before she could finish she was inturupted by a loud noise coming from behind us.

'Uh hm. Aren't you going to introduce us to your friend?"  Said some guy who Megan was talking to before I walked up.

'Oh, yes. Sorry. Everyone, this is Tori. Tori, this is everyone.'

'Hi, everyone." I said with amusment in my voice.

All day I was looking forward to getting to softball. But right now I was at lunch. After lunch I could go to softball. When walked in the cafeteria I was kinda over welmed. The peoploe were runing and yelling. Me? I walkeed into the Pizza line and waited. Once, I got my food I looked for a seat. Towards the back I saw that guy Josh. The one that I met earlier this morning. So I walked to himm and asked if I could sit with him.

'Hey, do you mind?' I said pointing to the chair.

'No, go ahead."

We sat and ate in silence. When I was done I got up and walked out into the atruim. The bell finally run.

When softball was over I was walking out of the locker room I ran into someone. I didn't see them there. It was a tall black guy.

'I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. I wasn't loo.." Before I could finish he started talking.

'It's okay. It's okay." He chickled, "Hi, I'm Xavier.'

"I'm Tori."

'Well, Tori. Hope I see you around.'

"Yeah, me too."

The ride home was awkward. Mom was talking about how she loved my dad but didn't know if it was going to last anymore. I just put in my Ipod and blared my music. The first song that came on was If It Means A Lot To You byA Day To Remember.

When I got home I did my homework and fell asleep.
